Great buying experience. Love my 2016 CR-V EX-L September 23, 2016 John M. I waited six months after I bought my CR-V from Academy Honda, Old Bridge, NJ waiting to see how it performed before wr September 23, 2016 John M. I waited six months after I bought my CR-V from Academy Honda, Old Bridge, NJ waiting to see how it performed before writing this review. I purchased a 2016 CR-V EX-L in mid-March 2016. My sales person was Paul Aweeky. Overall it was a satisfying experience. I think I got a great price for the CR-V, although I wish I could have gotten a little more for my trade in – 2011 Toyota Rav4 Limited w/v6, I was happy with overall transaction. What I liked about it there was no pressure to buy any extras – extended warranty, maintenance plan, etc…, had no problem with financing – 1.9% 60mo. . Now long story short, Honda ( and all car manufacture’s) have been using engine wiring that is soy based ( eco-friendly) but unfortunately makes it tasty for small animals ( rodents, rabbits, etc..), and many customers (throughout the country) have been having problems with chewed up wiring ( google it), so Honda came out with a OEM “Rodent Tape” ( basically electrical tape infused with HOT pepper extract) to wrap the wiring with. For some strange reason the Academy Honda service dept. refused to wrap the wiring with the OEM tape ( even though I was willing to pay for it, which could have cost several hundred dollars – time& labor), so I was going to walk away from the deal . That’s when Paul A. came to the rescue! He got the sales manager, Joe Scardino involved and together they rolled up their sleeves ( literally) and wrapped about 90% of the wiring with the rodent tape! AND DID NOT CHARGE ME ANYTHING!! Note, I supplied the rodent tape that I bought online. The CR-V is running great. I’ve had no problems with it, so overall I’m very happy with it and the whole buying experience. I fully recommend DCH Academy Honda when looking to buy a new or used vehicle. NOTE: the reason I went to them in the first place is in 2007 I bought a new Honda Odyssey and had a great buying experience. More

The car I got a used vehicle certificate on. Was posted as a 2005 Subaru Forester 4 dr 2.5 ss Manual. Lower in the description it said 5 speed manual w/OD. After driving over an hour and a half to Old Bridge NJ and having my boyfriend get a ticket for not knowing where we were going the car was not the one pictured, was NOT MANUAL TRANSMISSION. The car was an automatic. It had a broken windshield and had a sticker saying not ready for sale. The car was physically dirty both inside and outside. I had spoken to the dealership the day before and that morning I went to see it. Even on my way there I called there and asked them to go check that the car was there and as clean as it looked. The person who was supposed to check it and show it WASN'T EVEN THERE WHEN WE GOT THERE. Sanjay Chadda was the representative who after confirming that we had a 9:30 am appointment to see the car was not there when I got there. This was the absolute worst experience ever. More

This is the most important reason : Joseph Guzzo I have had the pleasure to work with Joe Guzzo on my Honda CRV purchases for my 2012 and 2015 models and Joe makes the experience painless. Joe listens to you, provides you with sound advice about the vehicle and its features and is there for you throughout the entire buying and leasing experience. He even makes sure that the car is perfect when it is time for delivery and goes above and beyond inspecting the car from front to back making sure that not even one fingerprint is on the car before you get it. I have such complete confidence in Joe, that I brought my brother to him who had been burned by another dealership and Joe alleviated his fears, got him the right price for his new Honda CRV. This might sound too good to be true, but I am telling you , Joe is the anti- sales person , no pressure from Joe, after all these are Hondas, which are great cars that are sold to you by a great dealership and a even greater person, Joseph Guzzo. Go see him at DCH Academy Honda in Old Bridge, NJ. You'll be glad you did ! More
