I scheduled an same-day appointment with him and drove 45 miles all the way to their dealership. Ricky greeted me at the helpdesk, and the rest of time, he worked with me until I got my new car. Ricky is a very sincere guy and a very professional sales. He is very helpful, knowledgeable and keen to business. He answered all my questions patiently, gave me much knowledge on car maintenance and usage. He even picked me up from the train station the next time I came to drive the car away. The whole process was absolutely pleasant, no hassle, no pressure. Everything was explained so clearly. All the paperworks are very standard. I did get the exact color (interior and exterior) of the car and the car is in excellent condition. The staffs here are very trustful and respective. I appreciate their help and time in getting me my new car. I will definitely recommend DCH Academy Honda to my friends who is considering buying a Honda car. More
Joe Koedros was fantastic in all respects. I became interested in purchasing a 2014 Honda Pilot a few weeks ago. I decided to test drive a 2014 Honda Pilot at a Honda dealership close to my home hoping my plan of buying a new car could be accompli few weeks ago. I decided to test drive a 2014 Honda Pilot at a Honda dealership close to my home hoping my plan of buying a new car could be accomplished with one stop and as simple as possible. I test drove the Pilot E-XL, loved it, and then decided to sit down with the salesman to crunch the final numbers. After reviewing the book value of my trade and being given the approximate trade in value of my vehicle, I was optimistic I was soon to be the owner of a new 2014 Honda Pilot. But then……..after sitting down with the salesman and shortly thereafter his sales manager, the final trade in value offered to me on my vehicle was changed to a ridiculously low and quite honestly, an insulting low trade in value. I guess this tag team approach was supposed to convince me to lose money on my trade, give my car away, and then be happy and buy a new car? I left this dealership frustrated and annoyed. Interestingly enough this "low ball" trade in value was later rescinded by the salesman via an email, and a more appropriate trade in value was offered to me. What a way to do business! Shortly after this event, I was lured via the internet to a South Jersey dealership only to find out the next day after arriving at the dealership following a snow storm that an error was made on the written quote sent to me again pertinent to the trade in value of my vehicle. I found this out only after again test driving a Honda Pilot. Yes an "honest" $2000.00 to $3000.00 mistake was made by the internet salesperson........again obviously not in my favor! Does this all sound familiar? The good news, two weeks ago I took possession of a new 2014 Honda Pilot E-XL. This was made possible when I coincidently stopped into DCH Academy Honda in Old Bridge, NJ, and meet Joseph Guzzo. From the original handshake, I felt my luck changed and I finally meet a professional salesman who knew his product, took the customers’ needs into consideration (Can you imagine), and was interested in an honest....yes honest and fair negation of price on a new 2014 Honda Pilot. Joe certainly knew his product and actually based on my needs made some suggestions to me (Vehicle Options) that ultimately worked to my advantage and enhanced the appearance and value of my soon to be new Pilot EX-L. I found Joe as he asked me to call him, to be personable, straight forward, honest, reliable, and sensitive to the needs of his customer. There was no pressure to rush into buying a car. No tag team sales manager approach! Based on my experience and solely in my opinion, the bottom line for all of you reading this evaluation who are interested in buying a new Honda, call Joe Guzzo, set up a time to meet with him, and brace yourself for the unusual and unexpected.......a honest and pleasurable experience in buying a new Honda! P.S. I just returned from a 10 day trip to Florida with my new Pilot-EXL. The car outperformed my expectations as well as that of my wife and the two guests who traveled with us on this trip. What a great car! More

We could not be happier with the customer service or the deal that we received. The warranty, the savings, and the model paired with the customer service is the reason I had to leave this review. Twice as nice!! We leased a 2013 Civic from DCH Academy Honda and Joe Koedros (Joe K.) in March 2013. Towards the end of December 2013, when our second car started to show signs of age, we checked out lea Honda and Joe Koedros (Joe K.) in March 2013. Towards the end of December 2013, when our second car started to show signs of age, we checked out lease specials at Academy and saw that they were running a great special on their remaining inventory of 2013 Civics. Since our experience in March had been so good, we contacted Joe K. directly and went to see him. We walked in to the dealership and were greeted like family. Joe Scardigno saw us, remembered us and came over to say hello. Joe K. was very happy to see us. We sat and caught up for a little while and then got down to business. We had gone in with a strong idea of what we wanted to put us into another new Civic. Once Joe K. took our 98 Camry in to be evaluated, he came back and told us what they were going to do for us. We were so happy to find out that they did better for us than the deal we had hoped for. It was almost a "no brainer" for us to accept. How can you argue when they beat your own expectations? While the car was being prepped for us, Joe K. turned us over to Lily Li for the dreaded paperwork. But, she was so pleasant and easy to work with and everything went so smoothly, before we knew it, we were back at Joe's desk to get the keys. When the hardest part of getting a new car is deciding what color you want, that has to be the best car buying experience ... ever.
