This is the third new car we have bought at DCH Academy Honda in Old Bridge, and our experiences have been positive each time. This time we knew what car we wanted, and had already been to another dealer c Honda in Old Bridge, and our experiences have been positive each time. This time we knew what car we wanted, and had already been to another dealer closer to home. When we visited the first dealer, we were first told that we would prefer a different car, and then that it would be impossible to get the car we wanted with a manual transmission - or in a color that we liked. We were so frustrated that we were prepared to look at Toyotas and Subarus and give up on a Honda entirely. However, fortunately, we decided to make a phone call to DCH Academy Honda first. Mark Kamatoy provided helpful and very specific information about availability and pricing over the phone, assured us that he would help us get the car we wanted, and arranged a time for us to visit and test drive. Mark introduced us to Joe Koedros, who took us out to drive what would become our new car the next day. Like Mark, Joe was informative and helpful. He also proved to be friendly and interesting to talk to while we waited for some of our paperwork to be completed. Everyone we dealt with was warmly professional. Even though it was busy in the showroom both evenings, we were not rushed. We particularly appreciated that there were no negotiation games and there was no pressure to purchase options or packages that we didn't want. So, with no arguments or apparent difficulties, Mark and Joe sold us the car we wanted, with the transmission we wanted, in a color we liked, and at a price that was lower than the theoretical price we were quoted by another dealer for a car that wouldn't even have been exactly what we wanted. I received wonderful service from Mr. Koedros. The other staff I delt with were wonderful as well. He was knowledgeable and accommodated my needs for the new vehicle I was searching for. I had given 5 star rating to this dealer earlier based on my purchase experience with the Sale department But now 0 rating for the Finance Department's customer service. Below is my bad experience. When I bought new Honda Accord, I also got Service Contract and Road Hazard coverage. After reading the Terms & Conditions of the agreement, I didn't find it worth for my car and I decided to cancel it, It was mentioned in the agreement that if I cancel it before 30 days, I'll get the full refund. I called the Dealer and mentioned that I want to cancel, I also asked them whether the Finance person who sold the contract to me is available or not ? They mentioned that I can just come over and any one from Finance can assist me for the cancellation. When I went there, the finance person told me he can't process the cancellation and only the person who sold the contract can process it and she was on leave that day. I had to go back and come again next day when she is available. She cancelled it and mentioned to me that the full amount will be credited to my Car Finance account. Cancellation certificate mentioned that the processing will take 3 to 4 weeks. After 4 weeks the amount was not credited, I called up and asked them, they said it will take 6 weeks. After 6 weeks still not credited, again called them up and they said it will get credited and not to worry. Now 8 weeks passed and still not credited. When I called up again, they were busy with other customer. I left voice message, no response for that. I left message at Front Desk person to inform the Finance person about the situation and return the call. Still no response. When I called again luckily I could speak with Finance person, I explained it is almost 2 months now the amount is not credited and as per the cancellation certificate it was supposed to get credited in 4 weeks. I told, as it was not credited to Finance account, I am still paying the interest on that amount. They told me that they will look into it and give me a call back. But till now I've not received any call from them. I am still paying the interest on the amount which I cancelled 2 months back. I don't know whether they are purposefully delaying this so that they can earn on the interest payment from me. More

We were able to agree on a price over the phone with little hassle. I very much enjoyed his friendly but no nonsense style. When we did get out to take the car for a test drive there were no surprises and we left with the car that night. I would definitely recommend DCH Honda for anyone looking for a quality car at a reasonable price. We will be back when it is time for the next car. More
While working with Joe K in the purchase of my new car, I felt abondoned once I closed the deal and I gave him my check. He was supposed to go over the car with me before leaving (following the car's detail felt abondoned once I closed the deal and I gave him my check. When he did come back to me, he suggested that I return on Friday when I was to have a remote starter installed. I told him that my husband would not be available Friday (my husband was with me at that time), and again left us waiting in the waiting room. In the end we left with no overview of the car. That following Friday, I went to the service department for my appointment of the installation of the remote starter (10 a.m.). Unfortunately, the mechanic on duty said he had no appointment for me. I told him Joe K made the appointment and with that, the mechanic went to address the appointment with Joe K. Joe K. then came to see me, apologized for the mix up (said he had confirmed the appointment with the Service Department), and that they would now come to my home personally for the installation, which was finally completed, but still did not do a review of the car with me. Closing the deal means start to finish and unfortunately as soon has I delivered my check, DCH Adademy Honda moved on to the next customer. I believe there is some room for improvment on customer service. More

Ms. Galluccio called me back immediately after the weekend to set up an appointment for late morning on Monday. In person, she was pleasant and gracious, without any of the hard-sell methods that can be so irritating. She listened to me, verified the cars I'd located on the Internet, and showed me whatever I needed to see. The price was right on the car I wanted and Ms. Galluccio tried to work with me on anything I needed. I bought a 2010 Honda Accord LX on the spot. Financing could not have been easier. I traded in my 1999 Honda Accord EX-L and drove away in my new-looking, pre-certified vehicle. I'd recommend Ms. Galluccio for her gentle, direct manner and DCH Academy Honda on Route 9 anytime. More

Willing to not only get what we needed but make it convenient for us to pick up the car when we needed it and arrange for our transfer of insurance and plates efficiently. Most importantly patiently explained the way the car worked and offered to be available when we needed to set up our phones, etc. More
