From the first greeting, to the final signatures and presentation of the car, the experience was great. We felt very welcomed, despite our three high energy kids all over the place. We had heard (from quite a few families in the neighborhood) that it was impossible to buy a car and have a good experience at Freehold Toyota. So when we decided to purchase a minivan, we went to look at the Sienna's at Freehold Toyota, because they were closer to home than the other Toyota dealerships in the area. We were not expecting to close the deal there. We met Diana, who has a great personality, enjoys her job and was knowlegable about the Sienna's. There was no pressure when we decided to return the next afternoon with other family members. When we decided to purchase a Sienna, we were still not expecting to close the deal at Freehold Toyota. We were pleasantly surprised as negotiations progressed that there was no pressure. The purchase price agreed upon was fairly close to our target price, Pete worked with us on the price of the extended warranty and Steve popped up at various times, but I got the feeling he knew what was happening all of the time. All the negotiations were up front. We didn't feel that we had to settle for anything until we were certain it was what we wanted. We went back to Freehold, however, because we felt they were the best dealership to get us the price we wanted(e.g. hoping for a repeat customer discount). We were not disappointed. In fact, I transacted most of the financials over two phones calls with Ian. Ian proved again that he is customer focused and professionally transparent with the numbers. When I arrived at the dealership, Ian had already organized the paperwork and had my vehicle prepped for delivery. Paul was very professional as well and not too "pushy" when it came to added services in the finance department. Paul was also transparent in the services that could best fit my situation.
