Vincent greeted me on Friday and gave me information I needed about a lease on a 2010 Camry. This was a repeat lease. The lease was coming up on our Altima and we had decided to go with a Crossover this time and did the research and test driving. We had looked at the Rav4 and decided to go to DCH Freehold Toyata to do th to go with a Crossover this time and did the research and test driving. We had looked at the Rav4 and decided to go to DCH Freehold Toyata to do the test drive. Well, we liked the car to begin with but Test Driving it sold us and the assistance we got with Vinnie was great! He was not pushy and was willing to do what he could for us in regards to what we wanted. Mainly, I wanted RED. They only had 1 on the lot that was a Limited Edition, which was not in our price range. But Vinnie checked and was able to find that "exactly" what we wanted was on the manifest of some vehicles that would be coming in. We put a deposit on it. Vinnie called us to let us know when it arrived. When we got there, he told ud that a number of people wanted to buy it when they saw it. But I give Vinnie and Freehold DCH credit that they did not sell it from under us and give us some story of it didn't come in yet. They also did not plays games where it came in but with MORE options than what we agreed on and upped the price. They were honest with our purchase. We were able to work out a leasing price that we were both satisfied with and I could not believe what a painless process it was. We have bought and leased many times before and were use to having to wait HOURS at the dealer while all the paperwork was done and everthing was approved. Not here. Vinnie even had the vehicle washed, cleaned and prepped before we got there and it was waiting for us with a banner of Congratulations for the purchase. (Nice touch) I would definately go back for future vehicles. More
The reason I visited this dealership was because of Vincent Vitolo. He is a straight shooter who values his word and lives by it. The experience dealing with Vinny, Henry & Justin was excellent. Ron and Dianne were do friendly. I got the best price for my Honda CR-V, $1,000 more than any dealer offered me on a trade in, including Hamilton Honda. I was also elated to find out from Dianne that DC for my Honda CR-V, $1,000 more than any dealer offered me on a trade in, including Hamilton Honda. I was also elated to find out from Dianne that DCH Freehold Honda was a member of the BBB. That sets them apart from other dealerships I visited this week, including Hamilton Honda, Lester Glenn Hyundai and Saturn of Toms River. Ron personalized my purchasing experience at this dealer, and made me feel welcome as a part of the dealship. That even beats out my purchasing experience for an ES-250 at Lexus. I am going to send my partner there when he gets ready to trade in his BMW X-5 More
I had a gratifying experience with DCH Toyota/Scion. This was my forth vehicle purchase in the last 10 years and I would rank it as the best. I was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and I had been se was my forth vehicle purchase in the last 10 years and I would rank it as the best. I was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and I had been searching for the right one for quite some time. I traveled very far to look at a couple of them, but neither of them ended up being right for me. I then located a 2005 Jeep Rubicon with only 48K miles on Autotrader.com that appeared to be just what I was looking for. I made contact with the dealer and inquired about it. I spoke to Darryl who was the used car manager. He had been previously disclosed by someone assisting me with locating the Jeep about the trouble I have had locating the right one. He was told about one that I looked at that I had to travel 3 hours to see. The vehicle appeared to be in great shape and was at a decent price. I went for a test drive though and instantly discovered it had break issues. When it came time to discuss this with the dealer of this particular Jeep, he was reluctant to work with me and evoked a very unsettling feeling. Darryl then proceeded to tell me he and his service technicians test drove the Jeep and found that this one's brakes didn't feel as good as they should. They were in decent shape and would probably pass inspection. However after hearing about the trouble I encountered previously, Darryl stated that instead of trying to fix the brakes up he went and had them all replaced. When he told me this, I was quite surprised and it was the first sign to me that this could be really good. Darryl then went on to assure me that the vehicle will be held for me as he understood I was coming all the way form northern Connecticut to look at it. During my travel down Darryl also contacted me again to confirm everything was all set and that he would have someone ready to assist me since he would not be available when I arrived. Needless to say I was really impressed with the communication thus far. When I arrived at DCH Toyota/Scion, I could tell right away that this was a legitamate dealer. I say this because you don't always know what the dealer is really going to be like based on the website decription until you get there. I walked in to the dealership and I encountered the one and only real issue I had during this venture. I did not see anyone around at first so I went to the receptionist who wasn't really receptive and wasn't that helpful. I quickly found someone else though who located Justin one of the sales managers who I was told to speak too by Darryl. Justin was pleasant and quickly linked me up with one of the sales representatives. It was when I met this sales rep that my entire experience went to a whole new level. I was introduced to Vincent Vitolo. Vinny as he liked to go by was the quintessential New Jersey Italian who just happen to be from Brooklyn New York. This instantly evoked a comfortable and familiar feeling as I am part Italian originally from Long Island. There is so much to say about Vinny that I really don't know where to begin. I will start by saying Vinny had all the swagger and charm of your modern car sales rep, but with something additional. He conveyed and truly made you feel like a person and not like a potential sale. This one true fact is something that is so important to me and I like to practice in my own life. This quality is exceptionally hard to find these days especially in the automotive sales industry. I really can't say enough about this individual. He treated myself and my mother, who accompanied me, with the utmost respect. He made sure we were comfortable and that everything that needed to be done occurred. He was truly a sincere man who obviously understands the value of creating loyal customers in a very tumultuous industry. The man didn't even stop to eat his lunch until he knew I was taken care of and that everything was done correctly. Believe me when I say this I have never met anyone in the sales or business arena who mirrors my own views and truly knows what it means to create raving fans which is the key component to any business. I obviously decided to purchase the vehicle and I received one of the best deals I have ever had on any purchase. There is a lot more I can say, but I will conclude this review with my sincere thanks and adulation to Darryl, Justin and the other great individuals that assisted in this purchase at DCH Toyota/Scion. And a special thank you to Vinny who not only changed my view on car sales, but confirmed that even with all the negativity and dishonesty in this world there are still people that really do care and display what it really means to be a decent human being. Started the process @ Toyota approx 1 month ago meeting with Vincent. But unfortunately we could not test drive a Rav4. We were given all necessary information while we were deciding between the Rav4 & th with Vincent. But unfortunately we could not test drive a Rav4. We were given all necessary information while we were deciding between the Rav4 & the Honda CRV. Fortunately we were highly disrespected by the Honda dealer in Toms River , NJ. An 800+ credit score means nothing to them. Even got contacted by Honda's survey group appropriately named the "Listener Group." Even they were shocked. Was promised that they would contact the dealer AND send us some coupons through our email but as of this writing I have to assume we were just blown off. Honda is doing so well. After further researching on the Rav4, we found that this was the better choice. We made another visit to Toyota and Vincent hooked us up with Ron who "listened" to what we wanted, got us a vehicle to test drive, got us a taylored lease to our specifications and had us signing for the vehicle before we left. Thank you Ron for a most professional, no nonsense, experience that Honda could not deliver. Vincent brought us "back" but Ron "done" the deal. We have gotten our call back from Ron advising that our vehicle is on its way. Who knew this could be so painless. Certainly not Honda of Toms River. J.T. & I.P. P.S.
