Have not received permanent tag after 4 months I purchased a car from DCH Kay Honda 3/12/2014. I was told by Edward the business manager I would not have to have my car inspected by the DMV in Dela I purchased a car from DCH Kay Honda 3/12/2014. I was told by Edward the business manager I would not have to have my car inspected by the DMV in Delaware and my tags would arrive via FedEx before my 21 day temporary tag expired. I received a voicemail from Edward 3/28/2014 saying he had been trying to reach me but I had given the incorrect information, and I had not answered the other numbers I gave them. I find odd because the number was correct when he called me 3/14/2014 informing me my loan had been approved by Honda Financial, also, Arthur the salesman was able to reach me via phone and SEVERAL emails asking that I submit an excellent review for the company on dealerrater.com. Why wouldn’t I answer a call from the dealership I just purchased a car from? Anything could be wrong with the car itself, paperwork etc. I returned his call and he tells me their title clerk had not included paperwork needed to submit my title paperwork, he faxed the paperwork told me to only sign it and overnight express them (this was a Friday) and I would receive my tags within a week or 2. When I asked him what to do until then if I got a ticket for expired tags he told me they would take care of it. I mailed the paperwork via US mail as it was Friday and FedEx informed me the letter would arrive the same time if I sent it priority. 4/3 I receive a voicemail from Armando stating they had not received my paperwork, I called him back and his conversation with me was he would check again and if he could not find them he would call me back. I have never heard from him again. In between this I have left several messages for Edward, Armando, Arthur, and Barbara the title clerk to check the status of my tags without ever receiving a call back. I had to get a temporary tag through Delaware because I could not drive with expired tags. 6/30- I called 8 times leaving messages with the receptionist and gentlemen who answered the phone and on 7/1 I received a callback from Vinny the sales manager. Apparently the information I received was incorrect and I was required to have my car inspected through Delaware which is what had held the process up. I was never told that before then. I have voicemails from Edward and Armando stating I was only required to sign and return a paper, which I did in April. I sent the paperwork off 7/7- I had to go back to the DMV and get a copy of my inspection paperwork and still have not received a call, email, voicemail or my tags. I have paid $20.00 total to get 2 temporary tags and Delaware will not issue another. The ones I have expire 8/1 and I just called the Delaware DMV today 7/23 and no paperwork has been submitted through them. More

I was not originally planning on driving away with a new vehicle that day, but I could not pass up the deal he offered me. Arthur our salesman was very pleasant and patient. I have assisted with purchasing vehicles from 2 other Honda Dealerships and by far this was the most hassle free car buying experience I've ever had.
