The staff needs to pay a little bit more attention, especially when customers are waiting. On 10-19-20 I brought my vehicle to dch Wappingers for a factory recall. While I was there I requested a nys inspection. The factory recall for the passenger front airbag went without incident, no problems. factory recall. While I was there I requested a nys inspection. I was then approached by Evin from the service department who stated to me that my vehicle could not pass the inspection due to a broken plastic tab which is attached to the drivers side headlight assembly. I asked him what it would cost to replace the assembly. His response was $419.00 dollars.I obviously declined. He then informed me that the low beam headlight bulb on the passenger side was not working and should be replaced. I did agree to the replacement bulb. when it came time to pay at the cashier I was told that the bill for the replacement bulb was $54 dollars and change. When I questioned the bill Evin came back out and explained that the bulb cost $16.95 and the service tech gets $33.00 for labor plus tax thus totaling $54 dollars and change total. My argument was if I had known ahead of time the expense of the bulb I would have changed it myself. It takes about 2 minutes to change a headlight bulb. I reluctantly paid the bill because my argument fell on deaf ears with Evin. I then left the building to retrieve my vehicle. When I reached the vehicle I noticed my headlights were left on along with the fog lights even though the car was parked. Upon entering my vehicle I noticed that the passenger seat had debris left on it from the recall Replacement. There was also a couple of items on the floor of my vehicle which were in the glove box when I arrived there. Why? Needless to say I will never patronize dch Wappingers again.later that day I took my vehicle to another establishment and passed the inspection with no problem. 2021 was the year I was going to purchase a new Toyota from them but not now after this horrific experience. I’ll switch to Honda moving forward. More

I was solicited by Toyota to schedule a service on my 2018 Highlander lease. Upon arriving, I was told that my ToyotaCare coverage had expired and that I would be responsible for the service charges. Toyota could have solicited me for the service prior to my ToyotaCare coverage expired, or have at least called to inform me of changes to my coverage. Allison was more than understanding and she made repeated attempts to speak with her sales manager regarding my concerns. In the end, Toyota agreed to cover all my service charges and even covered the cost of my state inspection. I really appreciated their excellent customer service and look forward to returning to Wappingers Falls Toyota for service appointments in the future. More
