I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with the service I received from Dan Cummins. While my vehicle was in your care, my chrome mirror was damaged. This damage did not exist prior to my visit the service I received from Dan Cummins. While my vehicle was in your care, my chrome mirror was damaged. This damage did not exist prior to my visit and occurred solely due to the handling of my vehicle by your staff. What is most upsetting is not just the damage itself, but the lack of professionalism, accountability, and concern shown afterward. I expected your team to take responsibility and provide a clear resolution. Instead, the issue was handled poorly, leaving me frustrated and disappointed with the overall service. When a customer entrusts their vehicle to a dealership, basic care and respect for that property should be guaranteed. Damaging a vehicle and failing to promptly and properly address the issue is unacceptable and does not meet reasonable customer service standards. I am requesting that this matter be resolved immediately, including repair or replacement of the damaged chrome mirror at no cost to me. I expect to be contacted promptly regarding how Dan Cummins plans to correct this situation. RUN. DO NOT PURCHASE A USED CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP Insanely horrible dealership. My experience in their used car department. Bought my 4 runner i DO NOT PURCHASE A USED CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP Insanely horrible dealership. My experience in their used car department. Bought my 4 runner in Dec 24. Got to dealership, they brought me the vehicle wet. ( to obviously cover imperfections ) . I knew there was damage to the rear from the initial apparasial photos that were uploaded before dealership photos. I specifically asked them if there was any other damage. They declined. I bought the car. After a day, I noticed all of the windows had a weird film and grit feeling to them. I then noticed my front bumper had masking tape in a corner, and looking close, there was horrible dust and paint imperfections. And over spray on the tire, molding, etc. I realized the grit feeling was also all over the car. I realized it was paint over spray. So, they lied. The rear should have been the only damage fixed. ( they didn't fix it) paint is now chipping and the valance almost flew off because they didn't properly clip it. I took my car in for them to fix the alignment ( which they agreed to fix) and they agree the paint on the bumper and all the over spray was not good. They kept my vehicle for 2 WEEKS. Saying they will fix the bumper and paint over spray on the vehicle. I pick it up, all looks...ok. I get 2 miles down road to gas station and just in the right light, see paint bubbles and spots were dust setttled in the paint all over the entire vehicle. This was not there before. There was new masking tape inside the doors, new over spray. They're responses - "we'll take the car back." - not offering a solution that helps me because now that I just bought a car, my credit is adjusting and I won't get a better rate. I already had the car a month. - We didn't do that, we just painted the front. We're not fixing anything else....but it does look better than before, right? ( their actual response) . - They lied. There was clear evidence of it being fully painted over. Along with quite a few imperfections. Insult to injury, they returned my vehicle with mud all over the floor, in the backseat, and what looked like multiple people riding in my car after stepping in mud. It was really bad. See images. More insult to injury, they installed my temp plate on front, did not remove the previous owners plate that had 5 month old expired tags. --------I got pulled over in Louisville for it. Their excuse for all of this - " we're a high volume dealership" - Their "awards" are for sales and volume. Not real customer service. Long story short, when asked what damages had been done to vehicle, they lied, covered up whatever scratches etc by hiring a very unprofessional, cheap mobile painter to come spray down the car. The rear and front bumper are starting to chip as well. Do not buy their clear coat. Do not get work done by their body shop. I wouldn't trust their service department either. They are doing shady things vs being honest, taking accoutability and fixing the issue ...that benefits the customer. This is unsat. BE AWARE. More
