Abusive Sales Techniques and Poor Customer Service Sid Farahani is an embarrassment to Dan Perkins and Subaru in general. After performing a bait and switch on me (quoting an online price and then changing it when I came in for a test drive), he was rude throughout our conversations, which I chose to ignore because he quoted a decent price. When he called me to follow up THREE WEEKS LATER, he became verbally abusive when I told him I could not get financing, accused me of wasting his time, refused to return my REFUNDABLE deposit, and HUNG UP on me. Avoid him at all costs. Then, because I DARED to complain online, the dealership has their lawyer write me a threatening letter! Luckily, corporate Subaru stands behind their brand, and gave me a goodwill certificate to compensate for my horrible experience, which was used to purchase a brand new car at a different, reputable dealership! More

I called dealers in Ohio, Virginia, D.C., Vermont, all over, a dozen or more emails to dealerships, and Josh beat them all, even our local dealer. Figure I would wait until our first visit to the Dan Perkins service Dept. for our first oil change before posting a review about the service we received at Dan Perkins Subaru. Josh was a great guy to deal with. A little slow at answering emails, but the transaction while purchasing the EXACT car we wanted was better than I expected, especially from an out of state dealer. I made an appointment for 12/18/2015 with a gal at the service department who was very direct and polite on the phone. I arrived 30 minutes early (10:00 AM) and was out of there by 11:15 AM. Not bad for an oil change and to re-program our remote starter from 15 minutes to 3 minutes cut off time. They had free coffee, bagels (sorry guys, I had 2 bagels ;)) and couches with a wide screen T.V. , magazines and newspapers to read. All in all, so far, a great experience. More

Sid and his team were great- they were efficient, no frustrating games or haggling. Just the best deal of the 6 dealerships and a straight forward purchase- in and out of the dealership within an hour. We debated making the trip from Long Island to Connecticut but it was well worth the ferry expense and time. This dealership was head and shoulders above our local Long Island dealership. Our salesman Bob Oshrin was great and we love our new 2016 Outback. However, what really motivated us to purchase our new Outback at Dan Perkins Subaru was the great service department. The service department managed by Marc Mesidor has been taking such good care of our 2008 Outback, that we knew we wanted Marc and his team to also take care of our new Subaru. More

Michael Gallio is a friendly, honest salesman and he sold me the car at a great price. Michael was extremely helpful throughout the entire buying process, and he was happy to answer all of my questions. I live on Long Island and traveled to Milford, CT for my car, because the Long Island Subaru dealerships cannot compare to Dan Perkins when it comes to price or customer service. I would gladly purchase my next car from Dan Perkins. Overall a great car-buying experience! More
Finally got the car I wanted Like most, I dreaded the thought of dealing with car sales associates. I have wanted a Subaru Forester for a number of years. I called and made an appointment to see a used one I had found online. When I got there the car was ready for me to test drive. I loved it, but unfortunately I couldn't manage the payment on my budget. Sean and Kevin found a solution for me, with my trade in I was able to lease a 2016 and afford the payment. I love my new car and I had a wonderful experience getting it. Thank you Kevin and Sean. I will definitely bring my business back to Dan Perkins in the future. More
Grateful beyond words I have been a Subaru owner for 5+ years and have had 2 cars now through Dan Perkins. Just this past week my BRZ lost clutch function and I had to have I have been a Subaru owner for 5+ years and have had 2 cars now through Dan Perkins. Just this past week my BRZ lost clutch function and I had to have it towed to the dealership. Not only did Dan Perkins Subaru tow my car for me, they were extremely informative and communicative as to what was going on. My true heroes are David from the service department and my sales man Kevin. They had my car fixed in a timely manner and were completely amazing to me and I will forever be grateful to them. I will never go to another dealership. Thank you thank you thank you! More
Buying a new Outback From the minute I walked into the dealership, I received excellent customer service; I dealt with Regina Golden, who although she was very busy with From the minute I walked into the dealership, I received excellent customer service; I dealt with Regina Golden, who although she was very busy with another customer when I arrived, gave me the same undivided attention when she was free a short while later. I entertained myself while waiting in the very clean and comfortable show room which included watching the finches in their cage. ( I am a big animal person... and appreciated the effort to keep the cage immaculate. The birds seemed to like it too.) When I told Regina I was considering the Outback and two other competitors, she brought me to an interactive screen and showed me the relative benefits of each and why the Outback was an excellent choice. We walked around the lot and she showed me what each of the options looked like, and made arrangements for me to test drive a car which I did a few weeks later since none were available that day. She stayed in touch with me, no pressure, and when I decided to buy the vehicle, walked me through the process. I was able to get a haggle free discount through AAA which the dealership honored. 10 weeks later, my car arrived just in time for my birthday. They were able to transfer my plates to the vehicle and after signing the papers, off I drove. ( I was very fortunate to not need to finance the car, but the Finance department was most pleasant, and was able to offer an excellent rate, should I have wanted to finance it.) A week later, the dealership had a Ladies Night with Pizza and prizes. It was very nice to see how much they enjoyed their jobs and working together while entertaining their customers. Dan Perkins had a real family like feel when I was there, and when I needed to interact with service for a finish to be applied to the outside of the car, they were extremely pleasant and professional. I have owned the Outback for 2 weeks now and I think it is a great car from a really nice dealership who extended themselves to make me feels comfortable. Should I need another car I will definitely be back! More
