Service was substandard I purchased my 2002 Nissan Frontier new from the previous dealership and have been bringing the truck for service at this location for many years. I I purchased my 2002 Nissan Frontier new from the previous dealership and have been bringing the truck for service at this location for many years. I received an email from Dave Smith NIssan with discounts advertised and called for an appointment. Took the vehicle in on a Friday. I was told that there weren't technicians available to work on Saturday so it would be Monday before the work would be complete. I picked up the truck and immediately noticed a "Service Engine Soon" indicator. Went back to Jared Smith and explained the situation. He acted like it was nothing of concern and said that it was probably something that didn't get reconnected. Regardless it should have been caught prior to me getting in it to drive home. Its a good thing the Dave Smith Nisssan Service Department doesn't fix aircraft. I never saw the discounts advertised. Service had my vehicle for five (5) days! The results of the service were never discussed with me after the problem was corrected. Everytime I called Jared I was forwarded to voicemail. I'm looking for a different Nissan Service department to do business with. If it were possible to rate a zero (0) to describe my experience at Dave Smith Nissan, I would have done so. More
