The primary salesman(Craig Latz) was very professional and kind, however I had to "deal" with a different person when it came to the final price, which I find annoying. Before driving over an hour to get and kind, however I had to "deal" with a different person when it came to the final price, which I find annoying. Before driving over an hour to get to the dealership, I was informed that I would get a "minimum" of 3500 and no more than a maximum of 4500. This led me to believe I would get something in between. Not the case. This "different person" offered me 2700 for my used vehicle when I arrived, and acted like it was going to hurt him to give me 3000 (the old I'm gonna do you a favor bit) when I questioned him. The second area was getting hit with a $700 "Dealer Fees" neatly typed ahead of time into the sales receipt. In these economic time this should be exempted for customers. My wife and I were so in shock about the hidden fee that we did'nt even know what to say and paid it without even trying to negotiate it. I am happy with my used vehicle but can't help but feel shafted on these two areas. More

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Monica Lewis at Daytona Toyota. She is prompt and thorough. I told her what I was trading in and gave her the condition of the vehicle along with the book value and trade in amounts I desired along with the finance terms I qualified for and expected. She thanked me for allowing her to serve me and promised she would call me back after running the numbers by management. Within an hour or so she returned my call accepted the terms of my deal and told me she would contact me as soon as my vehicle arrived on the lot. I contaced her on Monday morning Memorial Day and Tuesday evening after work I went and picked up my new Highlander complete with the tow hitch installed as promised. Great dealership and I will never consider buying a new toyota from anyone else except Daytona Toyota. The finance manager was very nice as well. Friendly courteous and professional.
