Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear you were unhappy with your lease. The main advantages of leasing a vehicle are people who like to drive a new car every few years, as you stated you did, will usually pay less by leasing than if they were to buy a vehicle. The other key advantage is that lease payments are usually lower each month than loan payments for any given car. In 2006, auto dealers had the luxury of working with multiple banks who were competing for business and providing early lease termination assistance. With the economic downturn in 2009, three of the main banks we use - Hunington, Wells Fargo and Chase - stopped leasing vehicles in Florida. As a result, early lease termination assistance also went away. Unfortunately, we have all felt the effects of the unscrupulous banking industry and in 2006 Daytona Toyota, along with the rest of the auto industry, had no way of predicting the downturn or the ramifications for our customers. At Daytona Toyota, we take great pride in our customer service. We would certainly love the opportunity to help you out of your lease and try to make you one of our raving fans.
