The service was excellent, and the service staff were outstanding. I noticed that the car door handles were taped, the service driver wore gloves, and the steering wheel was taped as well. All of these procedures were completed before driving my Rav to the service bay. The dealership certainly maintained cleanliness and safeguards to minimize contamination from the Covid 19 curse. More

Originally came in with my 2008 Prius I had towed in was informed by Angel Otaro that cell battery& computer needed replaced quoted approx. $3,500. Since car also would still need paint at aprox. 3k decided to trade in checked with used cars department there & couldn’t find what was needed & affordable so checked out other dealers. Found used 2011 Toyota Prius traded 2008 in for & was attempting to have car checked out 40 pt inspection, oil change, &recall & set up for future maintenance as I also own a 2012 Toyota Prius V that was bought new from Daytona Toyota that all maintenance is done there. Was let down only recall update done that day this is now after 4 visits w/ 2 cars. I may check with Deland Toyota for my 2011 after this. More
I’m very disappointed in a recent service at Daytona Toyota. It was not only a terrible experience but unethical practice. Went in for a Basic tire replacement. I had to remind the service person about a tire warranty 3 times. Left the car there and was told shipment was delayed 2 times so now I was without a vehicle for 2 days. At this point they should have offered a loaner vehicle but they didn’t. I called back on the 2nd day and they said they were working on the car and it would be ready day 2 afternoon. After not hearing back I called back then they say part was delayed. At this point I had to ask for a rental on day 3. The rental was smoked in and had a very bad odor of smoke. Why would a company provide a smoke in vehicle to a customer?!! They finally called on day 3 and said I had a leak in a radiator hose. Cmon day 3 you tell me this. By this time I have dealership fatigue. 2 hours later I had to call to see if the car was complete on day 4. Finally they say yes vehicle is ready but never told me how much the invoice will be. Once they told me a ridiculous price I asked why didn’t they call me about price before fixing and already charged my card without approval. they said they called my spouse which was a complete lie. So when I asked what number she called she admitted she was having a bad day and maybe she didn’t call. So said she doesn’t remember. 4 days to replace 1 tire Ask 3 times to do it under warranty Didn’t offer loaner after 2 days Loaner had terrible odor of smoke (cigarettes) Charge Card without approval Lied about calling. No apologies. I will follow up with Jim and Cj. Stay away from the service department More
Normally i give it a 5 star. But this time i should up for my appointment and was told i didnt have one. But i call the week before and made one. They did fit me in for my 10,000 maintenance but it took o for my appointment and was told i didnt have one. But i call the week before and made one.
