I was disappointed because our past record was not checked and they replaced my spark plugs that had just been replaced when my car needed service in Asheville, NC. I was not ready to spend another $300 on my car-wanted to put the money into new tires. It seemed like the garage in NC knew what had been done to my car in the past-what happened at Daytona Toyota??? More

Problem solved but it should not have taken so long my hatchback would not open on my 2019 Toyota 86. It took two trips, the second one lasting an hour and a half, to figure out that the opening system my hatchback would not open on my 2019 Toyota 86. It took two trips, the second one lasting an hour and a half, to figure out that the opening system was turned off.There is a key inside my key fob it could’ve opened the hatchback , and there is an on/off button in the back of the car. However, the problem is solved, and the people are very nice. Plus, there’s food while you wait! More

I was treated like I was calling all day everyday, not able to even speak and rushed off the phone. My car does look good, it was a quicker repair than expected, just customer service was lacking badly. More

Oil change at Daytona Toyota I called to make an appointment to have my oil changed for a newly acquired Toyota. This is the first time I would be a customer at Toyota of Daytona I called to make an appointment to have my oil changed for a newly acquired Toyota. This is the first time I would be a customer at Toyota of Daytona. When I showed up for my appointment time several people in the service area could not find my appointment, and did not have me listed for my 2 o’clock appointment. I had to revert back to the name that I was given over the phone and asked for Tonya. It was then that she was finally able to find my appointment and to fill out the necessary paperwork. There was also a problem with logging my Vin number into the computer system that seem to be giving her issues as well. I printed out a promotion for A gift card with purchase of oil change, that appears on the Toyota of Daytona website. However, nobody in the service department knew about the promotion, how it worked, how I was to receive the gift card, or redeem the gift card. So I sent a talk to somebody in the sales department. so after walking to the other side of the lot and speaking to a few people in the sales department, someone finally knew about the promotion and told me that I myself had to get online, click the link on the website and enter in the receipt number in order to generate the gift card. After an hour and a half my car was ready and Tonya went to speak to the parts manager to inquire about a damaged rear hatch back handle that I had asked her To check into it and get an estimate. Rather than giving just the price, the parts manager reprimanded her and some others around for not entering information into the computer correctly and then proceeded to lecture me on how to avoid damaging the rear handle while using it. I had to then tell him, “we just bought the car from someone else and it was damaged when we got it.”. I felt like his attitude and also reprimanding others in front of customers was very unprofessional, also there were some service techs, young gentleman in the break room wearing light blue Toyota T-shirts or polos, who also were very unprofessional whilst speaking to each other I heard lots of swearwords F words, S words etc, as they were discussing their college classes. Tonya didn’t outstanding job trying to take care of my needs, but many of the others in the area were extremely unprofessional. when I returned home and tried to click on the website for the promotion, the new window and link does not even work. It became impossible to pull up the window to enter in the receipt number for the gift card. So I guess I will have to call on Monday. More
