Bought my truck a week ago and I was treated great at first. One thing I asked for was side steps for my truck as my wife has a hard time getting in. I was told the price would be about a grand for them first. One thing I asked for was side steps for my truck as my wife has a hard time getting in. I was told the price would be about a grand for them but wouldn’t charge me for install. I was fine with that and the price was added to the final bill. We came in with a check from our bank instead of financing through GM which they took and I was told that the steps need to be ordered. I drove away happy and was told they would contact me when they come in. That was our last paring words. I checked on my side steps today ( about a week later ) and now told that they were never ordered because “ they were taken out of the purchase agreement when we decided to go through our bank” now we came in with a check for final bill not something a grand less. If there was an issue I would’ve taken care of it at the dealership but nobody said anything just “ we will call you in a few days when the steps come in “ I may just be a dumb working stuff who got played but, being a union electrician, I work with a lot of people who drive trucks and business owners who need fleet vehicles. I will make sure to go out of my way to express my dissatisfaction with DePaula and what was done to me. More
