Bought my dream car I was mislead by previous dealerships in the past so I went in with my guard up. Amy Shake saved the sale Went to the dealership on a Monday and was introduced to Amy Shake. I knew exactly what vehicle I was looking for and she did not try to discourage me Went to the dealership on a Monday and was introduced to Amy Shake. I knew exactly what vehicle I was looking for and she did not try to discourage me or get me into a more expensive vehicle. Took the vehicle for a test drive and she was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered all of my questions. Went back on Tuesday to get an estimate on a possible trade in. Amy was at a training which (which she told me she would be) and I was introduced to Sean Agans. He was also GREAT to deal with and very very friendly. Then the bad happened. I was introduced to their sales manager Ryan. This gentleman was totally condescending and actually asked me on 3 different occasions if I was paying all cash for this vehicle (24k). I understand dealerships make more money when people finance their vehicles as opposed to paying cash but the way he looked me up and down and actually questioned if I was actually going to pay all cash for this vehicle (like I couldn't afford it) totally downgraded me to the point where I got up and left the dealership. Amy however called me a few hours later and if it was not for her reassurance they would have lost the sale from me. As I said to the head sales manager Mike Fountain when I went back on Thursday to actually purchase the vehicle after that debacle , "If it wasn't for Amy Shake I would have walked away from this deal in a heartbeat. Other than that horrible experience with what I would consider one of the worst sales managers I've ever met. I would HIGHLY recommend not only DePaula Chevrolet but I would insist on dealing with Amy Shake. She is one of the nicest and most upbeat salesperson I have ever met and DePaula is lucky to have her. She def made this sale happen More
