Wes was extremely accommodating, from coffee to all of my demands. He and Dave worked out a nice price for me, considering I was a return customer to the Dean Team. On final purchase, Finance Manager Richard Martin gave me ample time to go through all of the paper work, making sure I knew what I was signing. His extra offers regarding extended warranty programs were explained very well! Wes also kept his word regarding a few touch-ups for my newly purchased used vehicle. Dave started helping use as we drove from Iowa to St Louis to choose a Subaru that would meet my needs. Then Rick took over to start getting us approved and all the paperwork ready as we drove. Rick was there waiting when we arrived and had the Tribeca ready for a test drive. He was very friendly and helpful throughout our process. We only had to wait on the banks to respond to finish the process, change cars and get back on the road. They made us comfortable and kept us informed the entire time. The staff had to really work quickly to detail the Tribeca and fill it with gas secondary to the short notice of our arrival but they got it done and made sure we were well taken care of while we waited. Rick Cody and John Ostlund are both very knowledgeable about the products they sell, and very ethical in the way they go about their business. They've both been recognized by Subaru as leaders in their f about the products they sell, and very ethical in the way they go about their business. They treated me with respect and showed great patience as my decision-making process took about 2 months. We live 2+ hours from the dealership and had little interest in driving that far just to get jerked around like you do at so many dealerships. While searching the internet, we found that Dean Team, however, had the vehicle my wife wanted, so I called and spoke to Carl Schaeffer about that vehicle. Carl knew that I already had a trade-in value that we needed to reach in order for us to be able to do a trade and that number was a little high. He made no promises without seeing our trade-in, but I was comfortable enough with the information he provided that we made the trip to see if we could work things through. We weren't there for more than two hours before driving home in our new 2013 Subaru Outback. Most of the time spent there was waiting for the computers to work, which never happened because Hurricane Sndy was in the process of wreaking havoc on most of the US servers on the East coast. When we left, we had an agreement in principle but were unable to dot the "i"'s or cross the "t"'s for a couple of days. Dean Team then sent all of the paperwork to us, as promised. I highly recommend the dealership and Carl to anyone interested in a painless car deal. More
