Came in for a simple tire rotation for $19 because I don’t have two jack stands and a space to work at home. Had an appointment slot. Waited an hour. Finally, someone comes out and someone tells me o don’t have two jack stands and a space to work at home. Had an appointment slot. Waited an hour. Finally, someone comes out and someone tells me of all the things my truck “needed”. They wanted $300 for 60k mile tune up (oil/filter, cabin air filter, air filter...and tire rotation) - all routine jobs I just did myself, save the tire rotation, for under $100. Then they want to flush my A/C. $75. Then they wanted $500 for new brakes and rotors (ok, fine, I know it’s about time for fresh brakes). But that’s another job I wound up doing myself for $175 and 2 hours of my time after I watched a YouTube video a week later. Listen. I get that you’re there to make money on repairs. What pissed me off is that your people neglected the 15 minute tire rotation and had me sitting around with my thumb up my xxx while your tech went hunting for things to up-sell me on. When your people finally came out to tell me about $900 in maintenance, they still hadn’t rotated my xxxxxxx tires and I had to wait another 30 minutes. Because of that, I couldn’t get half of the other things I had planned to do that day because your service took so long. My Afternoon And day off was wasted. I should have demanded there be no charge. Here’s some advice: Do the job. Then “inspect” for repairs the customer might want to consider. But that inspection should never eat into the time It takes to complete the original job requested. And how do I even really know they actually rotated the tires? I’m gonna have to mark them if I bring my truck back... IF. Maybe I’ll just buy some jack stands and do it myself instead of coming in for a tire rotation and a waste of my time. More

We were new to Del’s service center. Unfortunately we didn’t realize all services that were performed for our vehicle were overpriced 20-25%. I like the fact that every Del Toyota employee I have met seems genuinely interested in taking care of the customer.
