A snowy day happened to work best for me and Alex Batko in sales stood out in the snow and cleared off the car I wanted to drive and then throughly explained all of the key features on our test drive. The deal was so easy to make and he literally got me a better than advertised price (it’s been on tv/online for weeks) on a brand new Niro EV. On delivery day he took way more time than I ever would have expected him to just to show me the features of the EV, charging basics, and get me set up with with the Kia telematics. Adam in finance was awesome too. He made a big purchase as easy as can be. They also included key fob replacement and tire hazard warranties I hope I’ll never need, but they’re sure nice to have. I drove off confident I got the best deal on a great car. Thanks to Alex, Adam, and the whole team at Destination Kia. They were busy as heck in a Friday afternoon and I can see why. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a car. I think I mentioned it, but leased a 2022 Kia Niro EV EX. More

You should be ashamed of yourselves. You were dishonest, manipulative, and greedy with me, and you assumed I would not know any better than to pay you 4 times the going rate, because I'm You were dishonest, manipulative, and greedy with me, and you assumed I would not know any better than to pay you 4 times the going rate, because I'm a woman. You lied to me. You claimed that a $250 job costs $1004. I got off the phone in shock, and then immediately called you right back to tell you not to touch my car, that I would have it towed elsewhere, to a real shop. Ten minutes later, you returned my call and told me the $1004 spark plug change, the job allegedly so onerous that labor alone was going to be $700, was "already half done" and thus I wouldn't be able to get my car back unless I gave you $500 without you fixing it, "for the work already done." So to recap, ten minutes after you told me what a hard job it would be to change the spark plugs, so hard that it would cost $1004... ten minutes of labor later, it was "already half done." That was dishonest. It was shameful. Which was it? Was it really a job that would require so much time and labor that $1004 was a fair price, and you just *told* me it was "already half done" to extort $500 from me? Or was it really a $250 job, like everyone else in town charges, and really was already half done, but you actually charge, lessee...10 mins of labor @ $500, 10x6 =60 minutes, so... wow! That can't be right. It's very late and I'm tired, but... did that just work out to $3000 an hour for labor at your shop? Yeh, if the bill for 10 minutes there is $500... huh. Trying to charge that much for a job you know does not cost that much was shameful. Lying to me about the alleged difficulty in one breath, and then claiming it was "already half done" after less than 10 minutes of labor was shameful. Waiting a week to even look at it when I told you in advance I needed it the following Monday was not great, but for that I made room for the fact that it was busy. The disingenuous psychological manipulation is always a little creepy there. Holding my car hostage was especially shameful - especially when you had no signed authorization from me to do the work, but either way 10 minutes of work is not a $500 obligation. That part was not just unacceptable, I'm pretty sure it was also illegal. In short, you have permanently lost me as a customer, and I would not let anyone I know consider going there without letting them know about my experience there. You do not do great work, you make people wait way too long, you VASTLY overcharge (even for a dealership!), you've all apparently taken the same dude-bro salesman shtick workshop... I'm just so dissatisfied with so many things there. I think you should be ashamed. We all have to do things we don't like sometimes just to eat. That looks like a terrible job where you're overworked. I can see why you might forget the humanity of others, or think it doesn't matter how you treat people. It does, though. More
