Absolutely Unacceptable Service This is a pretty long story, but I'll try to summarize. Dick Scott had my car for a total of more than 4 months in an 8 month period. I first took This is a pretty long story, but I'll try to summarize. Dick Scott had my car for a total of more than 4 months in an 8 month period. I first took it in last November for a transmission issue. It took them two months to complete this repair. During this time, I had to badger them just to get updates. A few weeks after I get it back, I notice the transmission is leaking. I get it back a week or so later and within hours of being home, I checked under the car and it was still leaking. I took it in again the following week, and once again, it was still leaking when I got it home. It's like they hadn't even bothered to see if they actually fixed the issue... I took it in for the leaking a third time. This time when I got it back, it seemed to be fixed. A few months later, I noticed a large pool of fluid on the ground after parking on my slanted driveway. When I looked under the car, I was shocked to see an under-body shield that had NOT been on the car when I got it back the previous three times. Every time I noticed a leak, I was under the car trying to identify the source and this had not been there previously. So my car had been leaking for two months and it was covered by the under-body shield they put on. They couldn't fix it, so they just covered it up? I was finally able to convince the service manager to talk to me. I had tried several times previously, but he always avoided me. I had to wait him out and make it clear I wasn't leaving till he came and talked to me. When he finally did, he basically called me a liar and said "we didn't put that under-body shield on" over and over again. Whether or not it was to intentionally cover the leak, they DID do it. I had pictures from under my car to prove it, but he wasn't interested in logic or reason. Also during this time, the original problem I had taken my car in for started occurring again. It took another two months to get it fixed. They promised me three different dates that I would have my car back, and they all flew by without even getting a call to update me. I finally have my car back, but I have absolutely zero confidence that it is actually fixed. I contacted the service manager and general manager of Dick Scott to let them know how displeased I was and once again, I was completely ignored. I thought the General Manager might at least apologize for the horrible service, but I got nothing. I strongly advise you to look elsewhere, especially if you actually have a substantial repair. These guys are absolutely horrible to work with. More
