Between my wife and I, we have purchased 6 new Hondas from Don Ayres. I recently was in to see about trading my 2012 Civic on a 2014 Accord. I had visited O'Daniel Mazda first to check out the new Mazda from Don Ayres. I recently was in to see about trading my 2012 Civic on a 2014 Accord. I had visited O'Daniel Mazda first to check out the new Mazda 6, then went Don Ayres. I informed the salesman that I had been to the Mazda dealer first. He asked me what the price on the Mazda 6 was and I told him $23,790 which was more than the Accord at 23,545. I also told him that they quoted me a trade value on my Civic of $14,600 which was $200 less than my payoff. I had Gabe run some numbers so I had a comparison to think about and talk with my wife about. After being a very loyal customer, he proceeded to quote me a trade value of $11,000. But he said since it was lower than O'Daniel, he would discount the Accord $1,400. This was a slap in the face. He knows that I am a returning customer and this is the BS offer that I get. Anyway, I went back and bought the Mazda 6 for $25844.58 with tax my negative equity and doc prep. For the lower sticker price on the Accord, I would have ended up paying approximately $27,761, a difference of $1,917. Now tell me that they value their customers. If I decide to buy a Honda again, I will make the drive to Indianapolis. They have forever lost my wife and I as a customer. More
We originally chose to visit Don Ayres because we were looking for a Honda Odyssey with a particular trim level, which was difficult to find. It was definitely worth the drive (a bit over an hour). I was looking for a "bad weather car" anticipating a bad winter. This dealership almost always comes up at the top of my cars.com search. So, I went straight to their website. They have a very good inventory of quality cars I actually had a hard time choosing which one. They even slash the price if it sits for too long. I sent them an email and response was quick. When I finally decided on one, Darrin accomodated me that afternoon. I didn't even expect to drive home that car that same afternoon. I didn't regret getting the 2012 Subaru Impreza Sport Premium. It gets me through this winter and it is definitely one of the worst winters on record! More

He listened to all my concerns about the logistics and what I wanted pricewise. I got an "off the charts great price" on the 2011 Accord I bought. The only distress I had at this point was how I was going to get to the car. Low and behold he offered two different options about getting the car delivered to me. The car was BETTER than described! I have bought dozens of cars in my life but this is by far and away the best experience I have ever had. Darrin Bickel and Don Ayers Honda will always be my first choice from now on...even from 300 miles away!!! More

I am giving 5stars across the board because Darrin was very helpful very nice no pressure to buy. I drove an hour and a half away and would definitely do it again. The whole experience of going to don ayres Honda was worth the drive than going to a local Honda dealer that would have pressured us to buy and plus don ayres price was a little cheaper than other places. The way Darrin and others made us feel I would encourage anyone looking for a car to at least check them out, and see for yourself. More
My husband and I went to Don Ayres to check out some used CR-V's on a Saturday afternoon. It was cold, snowy and the roads were icy but that did not hold us back from test driving a two year old model used CR-V's on a Saturday afternoon. We spent the rest of the weekend researching different vehicles, dealerships, and prices......then went back to Don Ayres first thing Monday morning just as Darrin was arriving to work. He greeted us by our first names with a smile on his face and said "Perfect Timing!" We test drove the 2012 CR-V once again and decided it was "the one". Darrin walked us through the purchasing process and an hour and half later we were driving home our new vehicle. I LOVE it!! Thank you Darrin for making it a smooth process and for going out of your way to make sure everything we asked for was done! I have already recommended you to family and friends.
