I went in to Ford of Augusta and was warmly greeted by Nathaniel. He started with ensuring me he was there to serve me by finding the vehicle I wanted/needed (He's not on commission so he makes money on a sale, rather than on trying to upsell.). I looked at what was available on the lot, but the dealer didn't have exactly what I was looking for ( A low mileage truck, in good condition, for around $12,000.). Nathaniel informed me, he could look at the inventory of some other dealers' lots and arrange to have me look at their vehicles at my leisure (I guess they have an agreement with other lots.). Nathaniel looked at the inventories of the dealers and found a few candidates for my consideration. I was running out of time for the day, and informed him I wouldn't be able to go all over the place to look at the other cars. He didn't pressure to keep me there (huge relief!) and actually suggested he could arrange to have a couple/few of the cars I would consider for purchase on his lot for me to look at / test drive. He also mentioned he'd be willing to bring the cars to me to review if that was needed, he was willing to do whatever it was he needed to do to make the sales process as easy and suitable for me. I took him to task on this, and he followed through, several times. I knew just what I wanted and over the course of time, he kept his eyes open for vehicle which fit my demands. He didn't loose hope nor did he display aggravation with me (I'd give up if the tables were turned, he did a lot of leg work on my behalf!). I finally found the vehicle I wanted to purchase and the process went smoothly and was surprisingly enjoyable. If you want someone who is willing to go the extra mile, as well as go to bat for you, Nathaniel is your guy. He truly surprised me in delivering more than I expected as well as being treated as more than just another potential sale.
