I first dealt with Joe McKern but he could not stay with us because of his continuing illness. When we came in on that February Saturday, Steve assigned Wayne Timm to work with us. This was a great fit for my wife and I. We very much appreciated working with him. At the time of our visit we had narrowed our choices to the CR V and the Prius V. We had not expected to make a decision that day. Largely because of Wayne's attention and knowledge and his general approach we decided to take the plunge and buy the Prius. Wayne's followup on our purchase has been superb. In test driving other vehicles and working with other sales representatives, I encountered a variety of approaches. The disinterested sales approach is a real turnoff. Here is where Wayne excelled. He was attentive to our needs, addressed by name, and showed genuine interest in us. When we came in to get the Prius, Wayne spent time with us making certain we understood the ins and outs of our new purchase. I checked N/A for the price on you survey because I just don't know if our purchase prices was great or good or OK. I'm sure the dealership did alright (too many variables to know anything for certain). Were were satisfied with the price? Yes. Otherwise we would not have made the purchase. More

Had a flat: Chris gave me suggestions for getting to the dealership safely and on my arrival was able to diagnose the unusual problem immediately. He tried two different phone numbers to advise my tire hadn't come in on the next day's shipment and kept in great contact. My appointment to replace the tire only lasted 20 mins. because Chris had had the tire ready to be put on. He also explored the tire's hazardous road clause so I only paid $20 for the tire prep. He provided superior customer service in every aspect. I've never had such great service as from all your reps and want to buy again from Don Jacbos but am just waiting for my great car to fall apart (which I hope is years away - I love it as much today as when I bought it - it's made of iron and still looks great) and Toyota to produce another sports car. Mark and I have been dealing for about 15 years. I always ask for Mark. He is always courteous and friendly, as one would expect. But he also adds a more personal touch which is greatly appreciated. Our family has bought many from Don Jacobs. The employees and Steve are people we trust very much. Over the years we have used all their departments including the body shop! My wife bought a car from DJ Toyota and everything was fine… that was in 2004. In 2008 the car had a problem with the Traction Control, VSC & Check Engine light coming on and causing the traction and s fine… that was in 2004. In 2008 the car had a problem with the Traction Control, VSC & Check Engine light coming on and causing the traction and stability controls to go offline. It turned out it was a sensor somewhere in the exhaust system. It was replaced and everything was good again. About a year and an half ago the same thing begun to happen. We kept bringing it in but the light would go out before we were able to get to them. So nothing could be done. Today Jan 12, 2012; it happened and I took it in. They told me I would have to come back at 5pm because that's the soonest they could look at it. No problem... well until... I was informed I would have to pay $90 for the diagnostic. They never charged us before and now $90 just to find out what it is... Outrageous! Never have we been charged for this in the last year and a half... Did they even do anything when we brought it in those other times? Maybe not, because when my wife bought the car they failed to install the cabin air filter... not to mention when I ask them to tighten one of the heat shields on the engine... they claimed they couldn't find anything wrong when I even know which one is rattling. There's more. but I don't want to go into it now. This is already too long and no one will read it all. If you've made it this far, thank you for listening. These dealerships need to understand that if they don't take care of their customers, they shouldn't have any. More
My company buys all of its cars from this dealership and has for over 5 years now. Even though we purchase exclusively from them, they still treat us poorly. We have taken cars back multiple times for the has for over 5 years now. Even though we purchase exclusively from them, they still treat us poorly. We have taken cars back multiple times for the same problem and they are not very helpful. They do nothing extra for us and they even return our cars (avalons and camrys) in worse shape (dirtier) then when we turn them in. We will discontinue our business with them after my last experience. I guess they did not know or care I was the person that could make that happen. More
