I never thought I'd write a 5 star review for my car dealer. After a week of searching for a new van in Sarasota, I am so happy to have found Douglas Jeep in Venice. It was so worth the trip. Not only was the deal much better than any of the other dealerships, the staff went above and beyond to help me get the perfect van at a price I could afford. They were sensitive to some special needs I had, (yes, a sensitive car dealership) and worked as a team to make everything work out for me and my mom. Just in a frame of mind to complain about the Chrysler/Jeep policy of no spare tire in the Renegade Sport Model. Also was told at the time of purchase that no floor mats were available for the Renegade. Call me old fashioned, but I've never bought a car that had no spare tire or floor mats. Well, I got a personal phone call from the Owner Mr. Douglas. Very professional in explaining Jeeps policy on spare tire and was surprised that no floor mats were available when I leased my car. Offered to give me new mats, the new weather guard ones to show they do care about the customer. And NOW I feel that they do. In this time of businesses not making things right....these guys have it right! Thanks again for making amends and for caring about the customer. More
