My car would not start on Aug 27. I had it towed into ELCO. I was told (after having to run a $200 diagnostics fee) that a module that connects to the battery had malfunctioned. After some research online, found that there was a special bulletin for this module. Elco informed me that my VIN was not applicable to the bulletin. So I reached out to Chevrolet Care on the 29th of August to see if I could get assistance on fixing the module. They replied back in email that the module is covered by the limited emissions warranty that is available for my vehicle (have this in an email). I called ELCO back to let them know that's what I was told. They informed me that although my car has the warranty, it's not registered in the correct state to use it. During this, Elco offered $100 trade-in for my car. So I went back to Chevy Care. They said they would work with the dealership to see if they could help cover any costs. Tons of communication problems between the two parties each blaming the other for not hearing from the other. Me making the majority of the calls to the dealership to check on responses from GMC at this point. Then on October 25th, a tow truck driver dropped another car on top of my car. I didn't find out about it until October 28th when I called the dealership to find out if they'd heard anything from GMC. I never got a response from the dealership if GMC was willing to help pay for the repairs after 2 months and felt like i didnt matter anyways. Completely unacceptable for any customer. More

I can’t say enough about this location (Manchester) and the staff! It’s out of the way but I will always make time to go here!! Greg is always quick to help with anything I need even though he is a manager the staff! It’s out of the way but I will always make time to go here!! Poor experience with the service dept. I noticed some bounce in my ride and I had a feeling the shocks were going out on my Tahoe. Of course it was $179 just for them to look at it. I made a 9am appointment. 3pm came along and I had not heard anything so I called up to find out it had just got done. I asked what the diagnosis was and my rep told me he was just going through it. I said no worries he could just explain it to me when I got there. They sent the shuttle to pick me up, which saved me an Uber Ride, but when I got there, my rep had left for the day. Now clearly he knew I was on the way since he sent the car to pick me up and we just talked about explaining everything when I got there. But no, he was gone for the day and I was just directed to go over to the cashier and pay and take my car with no explanation of the diagnosis. The only thing with my bill was. 2 computer screen print outs of part numbers and billing hours. This didn't really sit well with me so I asked if the Service Manager was available so maybe he could explain the lack of service. Another rep called him, but he was too busy to come talk and would call me back later in the day when he had a chance. Well it's been 10 days and I haven't heard from my service rep or the service manager. Needless to say, I won't be going back any time in the future. More
