Exceptional service and excellent team. I live in Las Vegas but because of the incredible deals and easy process I bought my car here and flew in to pick it up. My service representative has been Ricardo for about 3 years. I'm saddened that he's leaving the company and believe that he is a great loss to Earnhardt Hyundai. I'm uncertain why he's leaving, but kno years. I'm saddened that he's leaving the company and believe that he is a great loss to Earnhardt Hyundai. I'm uncertain why he's leaving, but know that Ricardo is an honorable, kind and super caring person who has always done the best he can for the people that he works with. I've always been so impressed by the way that he treats people. He is an above and beyond kind of person. What a loss!!! More
The dealership was great with a large selection of Santa Fe vehicles. However the most important reason I purchased a SUV from them was my salesman Syed Zaidi. He was very professional, knowledgeable and a Fe vehicles. However the most important reason I purchased a SUV from them was my salesman Syed Zaidi. He was very professional, knowledgeable and a no pressure salesman . I enjoyed the car buying process and working with Syed. He was able to get me the best deal and assisted with options for trading in my vehicle. The assistant sales manager Doug Konieczny was also pleasant and no pressure. Sales manager Tony Femiano closed the dea giving me the price I wanted and even giving me more car for the same price. More
BOUGHT MY HYUNDAI SANTE FE LIMITED HERE NEW, BUT NOW I’M A NOBODY TO THEM. APPOINTMENTS ARE ONLY TO “HOLD” YOUR CAR IN A QUEUE FOR WEEKS WAITING FOR SERVICE WITHOUT YOUR VEHICLE! AND DON’T BOTHER BUYING AN A NOBODY TO THEM. APPOINTMENTS ARE ONLY TO “HOLD” YOUR CAR IN A QUEUE FOR WEEKS WAITING FOR SERVICE WITHOUT YOUR VEHICLE! AND DON’T BOTHER BUYING AN EXTENDED WARRANTY HERE; IT’S WORTHLESS! NEW QUESTIONABLE SERVICE TACTICS TOO. This used to be the best place for sales and service, but it certainly has gone downhill, as many other reviewers have shared here, on Google and other dealer review sites. When I called on May 15, 2023 for service, the woman answering (She has an unusual name starting with N) asks if I’ve been here before, I say “Yes, many time and I’ve submitted several positive reviews, too.” I give her my name and she rather rudely says, “Oh no, you’ve never been here and we don’t have any appointments until June 28th”. WHAT? I bought my Hyundai Sante Fe Limited here (new) in 2014 and took my Hyundai in for service many times. And I purchased a rather pricey 10 Year Carefree Car Protection Mechanical Failure Service “Platinum” contract too. But now when I call for a rear door lock fix and to check a rather odd flexibility in the steering on my 29K mileage Sante Fe, suddenly there is a 7 week wait time? She tells me they’re having resource issues, so I go ahead and make the appointment. Just to be safe, I take my SUV to another mechanic who advises taking it to Chapman (or any other dealer, as the steering repair is an electronic coupler that needs to be fixed right away for safety reasons). I get the steering coupler fixed, but keep the appointment for the door lock on June 28th at Earnhardt, but by the time 7 weeks roll around, the AC is intermittently not blowing air normally. I call on June 26th and the gal who answers says I need a new appointment for this issue and there’s nothing available until August 8th, another 7 weeks in summer! In Phoenix! But since it’s an intermittent issue, I decide to wait given good prior service. In the meantime, I call my mechanic friend to describe the issue and he tells me its very likely the fan motor that’s on it’s way out, or an electrical issues or resistor, or both. I look at my warranty and see those things are covered for the AC. Today when I go in for my appointment after waiting through record heat the entire month of July, my service advisor Cody tells me that he has to keep the car for at least 10 days to even diagnose the issue, along with a warning that the warranty may not cover “rodent damage”! I tell him my car is garaged 100% of the time and we’ve never seen a rodent in our garage and as of today, the AC is working and if chewed it wouldn’t be working at all, right? Cody agrees, but says he’s required to tell me this. When my husband comes to pick me up, he’s not at all happy about almost 2 weeks without the car AFTER waiting 7 weeks for this “appointment”. We ask Cody if we can just take the car home and he can call us when we’re next in their queue, but he advises that’s not possible with their policies. So we go sit in the parking lot to discuss it & call our mechanic friend again. He advises that we should wait until the AC fails altogether, as given the “diagnostic testing and rodent” warning (red flags), it’s quite likely we’ll be charged for the diagnostic testing, but told later that they couldn’t find the issue with the AC (these issues are apparently hard to find until the AC fails altogether). So I tell Cody we’ll take the car for now. Once home, I begin reading recent reviews on Earnhardt and am appalled to read the same “rodent” warnings and appointment issues. Are there a bunch or “rats” in the lot where they leave your car in full sun for 2 weeks before they decide to work on it? Couple this with the fact that I’ve paid out of pocket for repairs that were clearly covered by their warranty since they can’t schedule appointments in a reasonable amount of time, I’m over Earnhardt and Hyundai too. Time for Toyota/Lexus or Honda/Acura. More
