Sorry but your response is not how it happened at all. I brought in all the truecar paperwork. It was shown numberous times to ALL your managers. And I talked to Rachel Lambert as well, if you want someone to collarborate my review. My last words to Rachel was "I am sorry but I am going to have to write a negative review for not honoring the truecar price". I did NOT ask for further discounts. Someone is not being trueful, Phil. The price you gave me was almost $400 ABOVE the truecar price. When I brought in the quotes from competing dealorships that HONORED the truecar price again I was told "Sorry we cannot match the truecar price". Would not recommend your dealership to anyone and if you are not willing to work with Truecar, I feel you should take your dealership out of the program. l

Dear TrueCar shopper, I'm sorry we have this disagreement. I'm told we had a prepared Buyer's Order with approved pricing on it. I'm told that prior to signing a request of us was made to reduce the purchase price by more than $4,000. We had discussed TrueCar pricing and we were willing to sell you this vehicle at the TrueCar price. The Affiliate program was mentioned and that savings amounted to around $300. I'm told we were willing to make this sale to you provided you supplied us with an Affiliate code. We sell a lot of vehicles because of our relationship with TrueCar. The pricing for TrueCar is simple and it is pre-set. We would never do anything to jeopardize our relationship. I'm being told the $4,000 you were seeking was based on pricing for a base vehicle with a lot of rebates and incentives which you did not qualify for. That pricing we could not honor. Phil I am very surprised at the disingenuous reply. Being the dealership for Jeep you full well know that Jeep offers a 4,000 rebate/incentive on the purchase of a new Jeep Renegade. .There are even more reductions more than the rebates. FYI They are military discount and discounts if you lease or finance a new Renegade, Neither of them I am entitled to nor did I request them . So You do not want to honor the incentives from Jeep? I hope your future customers are reading this and go elsewhere since every other Jeep dealers in the immediate area have no problem with honoring the incentives and the truecar EXACT price - nothing more, nothing less. I did not want to haggle like a fishwife just purchase a car. And like I mentioned before it was a deplorable experiance FYI Here are the incentives I qualified for 2017 Jeep Renegade Retail Customer Cash Allowance $2,500 2017 Jeep Renegade Bonus Cash $1,500

Dear Jimmyd57, I'm sorry you are not satisfied with your daughter's Jeep Compass purchase. Your daughter had very specific demands that caused us to search for the vehicle elsewhere. The Jeep we located for your daughter with the trim, the color and all the options your daughter wanted was harder to find. We found the vehicle with everything your daughter wanted; however, it came with a package your daughter did not request -- the Safety Package. This package includes blind spot monitoring, ParkSense parking assist, Cross-Path detection and Rain Sensitive Intermittent Wipers. This package made the vehicle cost more -- $20 per month more on a lease, which Ed Whiffen split with you for an increase of $10 more per month. I'm sorry you feel this was a bait and switch, a term we don't take lightly. From our perspective, we located the vehicle for your daughter that she wanted with one option she didn't specifically want, but I would imagine would hopefully keep her safe and secure for years to come.
