After having a bad experience at Bayside Jeep dealership I decided to check out East H purchasing a vehicle. I had Stan Ewing as a sales Consultant. After having a bad experience at Bayside Jeep dealership I decided to check out East Hills after hearing so many good reviews about it. I had purchased an 03 Jeep Liberty In November of 2012, I was taken advantage and sold a car that's value was $5,000 for $11,000. I was ripped off and every month something was wrong with the vehicle. I've had no prior knowledge about purchasing a vehicle and put my trust into a dealership and a consultant that took total advantage. Going into East Hill dealership I was hesitant in purchasing a vehicle being afraid that I was going to be taken advantage of again. Stan Ewing reassured me that he was going to help, he understood my problem and helped me find a safe reasonable used vehicle. Stan literally sat and asked every single question me and my mother had and explained everything thoroughly to make sure we understood everything. Stan let me test drive all of the candidates of cars he had picked out and assured me of the safety of each vehicle. I'm so glad I choosed East Hills and got a very good Consultant Stan. I walked into East Hills Jeep 2 weeks ago to shop for a certified pre-owned 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I love everything about that particular car and all I needed was the right people to help me bring one certified pre-owned 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After going to three other Jeep dealerships in the Long Island area, I decided that East Hills earned my business with their winning combination of value, caring staff, and overall buying experience. My car salesman, Dan Duggan, was very patient and knowledgeable. He took his time to explain every single feature on the car. He sat with me through three test drives(because I brought different family members with me each time). He was not pushy at all and he was definitely keeping my interests in mind when he helped me choose the right Jeep. After spending hours picking the right Jeep, Dan took me to his desk and we crunched some numbers. The sales manager, Emil Kerri, was also a gentleman. He was a fair negotiator. He took the time to explain every single fee, from the New York State Inspection fee to how the car taxes were calculated. At the other 2 dealerships, the managers were impatient and downright jerks. Emil worked with me to arrive at the price I was looking for. Both Emil and Dan made me feel very comfortable and at ease through out the entire process. I have had friends who went through car shopping nightmares, and I am grateful to these two guys for making it relatively painless. The finance department was also very nice. Unlike other dealerships, they did not try to tag on any hidden fees. The finance manager, Dean, was very helpful. He helped me secure a very low interest rate (I was shocked because I received higher estimates elsewhere). He patiently explained all the terms of the loan and even made coffee for me! Usually during the financing part of the car purchase, the dealer will try to add multiple add-ons like $800 tints and $300 tire stem caps(just kidding on the last part). There were no sly tactics used here. Everything was straight forward and simple. All in all, I love my new car and I would recommend this dealership to everyone! I have already scheduled a service with Dawn and Steve, who were just wonderful. More
