Dear ginbebe, I'm sorry for your experience at East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram that led you to write this review. We strive to be world-class in everything we do. And if we're not, I like to get as many details as I can to make improvements to our processes, to rebuild relationships with customers, or at least to clear the air. I'd like to understand more specifics about the things you wrote in your review. My used vehicle manager said that you only wanted to deal with your salesperson, Jamie Krinsky, and that it was Jamie's day off the first time you visited our dealership. While no numbers were discussed, you had requested we take the vehicle to your mechanic. Upon returning the vehicle back to the dealership, there was no mention of any mechanical defects to address. Is this information accurate? Regarding pricing, my used vehicle manager said you only wanted to work with Jamie Krinsky. He mentioned you and Jamie negotiated the sale price and that this was on your sales contract. When you brought to our attention that we lowered the price of the vehicle online and that price was lower than what you and Jamie had negotiated, we adjusted the price of the vehicle. My finance manager said he got you a lower rate of interest than you had gotten with your bank, saving you additional money. We noticed the Tire Pressure Monitor light on. Our service techs adjusted the tire pressure and the light went off. We also rotated the tires. I am unsure whether or not this touches on the "faulty functions" you listed in your review. We ordered a piece of trim from the manufacturer to improve the vehicle's appearance as well. On the day we were planning on delivering your vehicle to you, my finance manager said you wanted to renegotiate your sale price again plus you wanted us to give you a remote start and an additional key. He told me he told you that after reducing the price of the vehicle, performing the service and ordering parts for the vehicle, and lowering the interest rate to beat that of your bank, we were unable to meet your final requests. Is this what you meant by we were "not willing to negotiate at all"? We prefer to have mutually beneficial relationships with customers. I'm sorry we could not move forward with our relationship and we wish you all the best in your vehicle search.
