I first purchased a Toyota Sequoia from Sky Estes (Ed Martin Toyota in Anderson) in 2016. I shopped all of the local Toyota dealerships at that point. Sky was the only sales person who dealt with me in a positive "sales" manner. As I do sales myself, I appreciated his down to earth, easy going manner. Rather than putting me through the sales ringer, we sat down together and looked at all the Sequoias available to him. He showed me exactly what he had in each vehicle and didn't pull any punches. I ordered the vehicle I wanted and we closed the deal together. So when I needed two new vehicles for key employees at my business I went directly back to Sky at the new Ed Martin Toyota in Noblesville. I had already done my homework and checked out pricing and Kelly Blue Book values. I had my eye on two matching, 2018 Rav4 hybrids that they had in stock. We sat down and worked out a good deal for each of us on the pair of vehicles. Sky Estes is the reason I went back again to Ed Martin Toyota. I hope the company appreciates him as much as I do. I personally do not care for the point of sale addon (warranties, protection packages, options,...). It is the one part of purchasing a car experience that I dislike the most. John new this from our previous purchase with him a few years back. John did his job and presented those addons to us, but did not pressure or persist once I had communicated my decision.
