My wife leased a 2024 Cadillac Lyriq in November of 2024, and the sales process was terrible. Service has always been great, but the car itself is HORRIBLE. The brakes will randomly fail on the car making it nearly impossible to stop. The first brake issue occurred at just 188 miles. Since then, it’s been back to the dealership five times for the same problem, and it still hasn’t been fixed. This is a serious safety issue, not something minor. What’s been most disappointing is the lack of accountability from both GM and the dealership. Instead of resolving the issue, I’ve gotten no real solution—and was even encouraged to spend more money on another vehicle after being told they would help make things right. At this point, I’m stuck paying for a car I don’t feel safe driving. With a newborn, that’s not a risk I’m willing to take. After multiple failed repair attempts, my only option now is to pursue a lemon law claim. If safety and support after the sale matter to you, I would think twice. More

My experience with Ed Morse Cadillac of Brandon was excellent from start to finish. I originally found a recently traded White Escalade listed on Edmunds. The photos were limited, but the price looked fair, so I called and spoke with Richard, who was helpful, straightforward, and confirmed the vehicle had key features I wanted, including Super Cruise, before scheduling me with Brian. When I arrived right at opening, the dealership already felt fully operational and professional, which made a great first impression. Brian was delayed in traffic, but Suzy immediately stepped in and took great care of me. She explained the Escalade had only been traded in a few days prior and hadn’t yet gone through full detailing, but still made it available for me to review and test drive. Even in that state, the vehicle was extremely clean. Suzy was honest, professional, and thorough throughout the process. If she didn’t know an answer, she took the time to research it or ask. What I would expect from a luxury dealership. Negotiations were simple, transparent, and respectful. We reached a fair out-the-door price and trade value quickly without an adversarial back-and-forth, which made the process feel easy and comfortable. During the paperwork process, Suzy introduced me to the previous owner, who happened to be there at the time.
