Great service I recently brought my Toyota Sienna infor service and new tires. I met with service manager Dave Romeo. Purchased my second new vehicle! I drive from Jupiter to Ed Morse Delray Toyota! I was drawn to the dealership by the excellent service department, Dave Romeo the service manager and I drive from Jupiter to Ed Morse Delray Toyota! I was drawn to the dealership by the excellent service department, Dave Romeo the service manager and his crew are exceptional. We have all our family vehicles serviced by Romeo. Since we established our relationship we have purchase two new vehicles from Ed Morse, our first was in 2014 and it's in top shape and now we've purchased our second addition a 2017 model. Both of our sales experiences were also exceptional! If you want service or need a new vehicle go see Ed Morse Delray Toyota...they are the best!!! More
Excellent service but inattentive sales staff As a snowbird from Dallas I brought in my Avalon into Ed Morse Toyota in Delray Beach, Florida for a minor issue which was handled efficiently and to As a snowbird from Dallas I brought in my Avalon into Ed Morse Toyota in Delray Beach, Florida for a minor issue which was handled efficiently and to my total satisfaction. So kudos to the service dept and to Service Adviser Shawn Peeples. While waiting for my car I wandered around the sales floor examining and sitting in the new Prius (which I also own) and the new Avalon Hybrid. There were at least two of what appeared to be sales people on the floor talking to each other. Nobody approached me to inquire if they could be of assistance... much less if a potential sale might be consummated. In truth, I was dressed in shorts and needed a shave... but hey, this is Florida and I'm here on vacation as I suppose are many others. We Texans generally dress down when going to buy a new car. That's our opening of negotiations. Ten minutes after leaving the dealership I received a call from a pleasant sounding woman, claiming to be from Ed Morse Toyota, asking if I was satisfied with the "VIP service" I'd just received. Naturally, I told her I was pleased with the service department. She asked if I bought or leased my current Avalon. I told her I "own it". She then asked if I owed anything on the car or if it was paid off. Thinking this was really nobody's business, I asked the purpose of her call. She told me she "could picture how great" I'd look in a new Avalon. I asked if she had any idea what I actually looked like since she "could picture" me in the new Avalon. That's when she let me know she works in a call center, not at the dealership, and therefore never saw me. How do salespeople close sales if they don't actually "see" a potential customer? Did my clothing make me invisible or was the sales staff so busy closing sales that they had no time for me? We are a Toyota family. I own an Avalon and a Prius. I just sold my older Avalon. My son owns a Prius and a Lexus. My grand daughter owns a Camry. These frank observations are meant to help, not simply find fault. I hope you care because we customers, dealerships, salespeople & service advisers & techs all need each other. More
