Let me start by saying, I hate car dealers. I hadn't purchased a car for 20 years because I hate the whole process. My opinion has changed drastically with this transaction. When I first w I hadn't purchased a car for 20 years because I hate the whole process. My opinion has changed drastically with this transaction. When I first went into Eddy's I was following up because I had looked at a vehicle on the website and the person that was chatting with me invited me to come and look. I was only looking, and was positive I wasn't buying. Jeep had just sent me an email asking me to look at the new models, I loved my 2004, and didn't plan on giving it up. The initial feel of the trip to this dealership was different than other places I have been in the past. Yes, Elliott immediately came out and greeted me, but allowed me to look and explore at my own pace. He showed me the vehicle, and answered the questions I had. I hadn't even driven the vehicle as I was sure I wasn't purchasing. Once inside the building, we discussed pricing, and Todd assisted at that time, again there wasn't those games of leaving you sitting in an office for hours to try and break you down. The information I requested was handed to me in writing as soon as they had it. Once we discussed trades, again there were no games. No hiding your car behind the building and making you sit there until you signed. My car was returned to the same spot I had parked in when I drove up, and the keys were immediately handed back to me where I was free to leave at anytime. Here's the part where I started causing them stress. Todd called the next day that everything was approved and I could pick up the car. We set a time for the upcoming Saturday, but I got cold feet and chickened out. I couldn't spend that kind of money, and at Christmas time too boot. I didn't pick up the car. Two weeks went buy, Christmas was over, and the end of the year was near, and I got a call from Todd. Again he was respectful, and and helpful. I can never say he was "high pressure" he was positive, and presented the deal to me, with a little betterment than before. I picked up the vehicle that night, and am very happy with the purchase. I will have to add, and some called me stupid for it, but I never even started the car, let alone drive it until I was behind the wheel to come home. I had been driving Grand Cherokees for the last 25 years, it was new, under warranty, and I didn't want to add more miles on it. I figure if something went wrong, it was their problem anyway. I purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee L from Eddy's in December. If the transaction was stressful for anyone it had to be for the staff there, as they were very respectful, no pressure, helpful, knowledgeable, and all around just about the nicest car buying experience I have had, other than when I used a broker in the past. Overall assessment, If I am in the market for a new/used vehicle. I would have no reservations in returning to Eddy's. More

I’d leave them no stars if I could. Beware of this dealer. They sold me an extended warranty and said it had free glass replacement for my wrangler. Well my windshield is cracked and my Beware of this dealer. They sold me an extended warranty and said it had free glass replacement for my wrangler. Well my windshield is cracked and my warranty doesn’t cover glass and doesn’t really cover much for the $3500 price. The finance guy that sold it to me is no longer there. How convenient. I requested for Eddys to cancel the warranty and will no longer do business with them as far as buying cars from them or having any service work done from that place More
Chrysler had me take my Jeep to Eddy’s for repair of corrosion on the door hinges. I sure wish I had taken it somewhere (anywhere) else. It’s now been over a month and Eddy’s still has my Jeep for a r corrosion on the door hinges. I sure wish I had taken it somewhere (anywhere) else. It’s now been over a month and Eddy’s still has my Jeep for a repair which was supposed to take 3-4 days. Horrible service. The first problem was them not returning my phone calls to make sure that the repairs were completed and the Jeep delivered to the airport as agreed. The second problem was them not delivering the Jeep to the airport, resulting in my wife, daughter and me being stranded at the airport on a Sunday evening. When I was finally notified that the paint work was completed, I got a ride from Hutchinson to the dealership in Wichita to pick up the vehicle. Upon arrival, I found that they had painted a pubic hair into the paint on one of the doors, and that they had chipped the paint on all 16 of the bolts used to attach the hinges to the doors. Then they did touch-up paint on the hinges, but did a terrible job with chips still showing in the paint. Now, over a month later, the Jeep still isn’t finished. Go anywhere OTHER THAN Eddy’s. More
This dealership, the individual workers and all the way up to corporate.. they have completely destroyed my family. They did illegal, immoral, unethical and just plain awful things to my family. The way c up to corporate.. they have completely destroyed my family. They did illegal, immoral, unethical and just plain awful things to my family. The way corporate treated us was disgusting. We were lied to left and right when we trusted the individuals in corporate who claimed they cared and this was a very serious issue. We tried to cooperate with everything they were telling us and we trusted them. Couldn’t have been more wrong. We were then pawned off on to a random lawyer.. what we went through at the dealership was completely dismissed and we were told over and over ‘that’s not a big deal’.. I expressed how my husband and myself were belittled and harassed. My husband has severe PTSD from serving our country and what happened took a tremendous toll on his well-being and this god awful experience with this company almost took my husband from myself and my children. Nothing they tried to gain from taking advantage of us is worth someone’s life.. but I reached out trying to express what this has done.. no one cared to respond. I will never forgive Eddys or the Stevens family for their lack of compassion for their customers nor their customers lives (let alone a Wichita native military veteran) You almost took my husband, my children’s father. I hope it was worth it. More
I went in alone (without my husband) with my two little children and THEY TOOK COMPLETE ADVANTAGE OF ME. The GM, Todd, belittled me in front of his entire staff, while I stood there holding on to my baby’s children and THEY TOOK COMPLETE ADVANTAGE OF ME. The GM, Todd, belittled me in front of his entire staff, while I stood there holding on to my baby’s stroller.. When I started to get teary eyed he called me out and asked ‘why are you so emotional?’.. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong, and they never once stopped to think about what they were doing. You can read my husband’s review for a more in-depth story. (It’s below mine) But please, especially women because we are unfortunately ‘easy targets’ (for lack of better words) for these types of places, think twice before walking through those doors. More
My wife went in to purchase a '22 Jeep Grand Cherokee with our two children with her. The sales assistant helping her, Elliot, was very courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful. The agreed to a price on with our two children with her. The sales assistant helping her, Elliot, was very courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful. The agreed to a price on her trade-in, signed an agreement, and she proceeded with the purchase. After she got home, she realized her financing terms were incorrect, that they snuck in every single warranty, and that her trade in value was over $5000 low. Assuming it was simply a mistake, she went immediately back and asked for it to be correctly reflected. One of the managers, Jeff, said they'd never give her that price for her vehicle and that she should have paid more attention. She asked for Elliot to explain that they both agreed to that, but they insisted she come back the next day to figure it out since the bank was closed. The next morning I personally reached out to the general manager, Todd Wright, to see what could be done. After a few exchanging of calls, he assured me that they'd be able to get things straightened out. My wife went back into the dealership in the afternoon that next day because Todd said my wife told him that I was deployed. Upon asking Elliot if she had said that, he said that she hadn't. He belittled my wife in front of his entire staff while with our baby and when she got teary eyed he asked her 'why she was so emotional'. Todd then tried explaining to her that her trade-in was, somehow, valued at even less than what they snuck into the financing, but that he'd make it right and that we'd be satisfied. I left work to go in and sign the corrected financing and once my wife, myself, and Elliot entered the room, Todd began a demeaning tone towards my wife. She wanted Elliot in the room to verify what was agreed upon. Todd never once looked at Elliot to show him and ounce or respect or decency, nor did he care that Elliot sided with my wife. After berating my wife and talking to her in a condescending tone in front of our 10-month-old son, I sternly told him "First of all, DO NOT talk to my wife that way." He tried to cut me off, so I again said "Do NOT F******* talk to my wife like that. He then began arguing with me for probably 2 or 3 minutes and I finally told him to give us our previous vehicle back. We left his room, two of his employees apologized for him as we left, and that was that. If you are looking to purchase a new or used vehicle, please do not go to Eddy's CDJR, and if you do, please be aware that Todd is perhaps the worst GM that I've ever dealt with. Elliot was trying to explain to Todd the situation, but it fell on deaf ears. We were told that our trade-in value would be lucky to fall somewhere between $40k and $45k, only after my wife signed and agreed to $48,425. We went to CarMax and they appraised our trade-in at $50,998. Edit*: Wife just went to another dealership on 4/13/22 and the finance manager saw that Eddy's CDJR put my income as $4000 more per month than what we told them for the credit application. So, we would have been yo-yoed into either renegotiating, likely with much worse terms, or returning the vehicle. More
Definitely look over all of you paperwork when purchasing a vehicle. I got screwed on my trade in value. What we agreed to and what they put on the paperwork was not the same. Apparently the finance guy make a vehicle. I got screwed on my trade in value. What we agreed to and what they put on the paperwork was not the same. Apparently the finance guy makes commission off of the sales of extended warranty services he will tell you it costs way less than what he actually charges. It's sad that that they are allowed to blatantly lie to you and steal your money. DEFINITELY DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD FOR IT CHECK ALL OF THE NUMBERS!!!!!!!! More
