Excellent service. Unfortunately the same can't be said of the problem with the Distance-To-Empty indicator. Starting this past fall the DTE indicator showed only about Unfortunately the same can't be said of the problem with the Distance-To-Empty indicator. Starting this past fall the DTE indicator showed only about 325 - 330 miles when I filled the tank. Prior to that it always said approximately 360 miles DTE. (When I left the EP Nissan shop this last time it said 370 miles even though I had filled up about 10 miles prior to going in. It said 329 miles when I got there.) Most of the Nissan service writers say the problem is the gas blends or the winter weather or something else. That's what the service writer said when I took it in previously, in December 2017, & that's what a different service writer said when I took it in the other day. Apparently that is not the case. Both times the mechanic touched the positive wire to the negative wire & that corrected the problem. (It was the same mechanic that worked on it both times according to the service writers.) Please correct this via a software update or grounding or whatever. I will bring it again if I have a problem but this problem speaks poorly of Nissan. I only have about 4 months left on my warranty so I expect this to be handled promptly. The service writer that I spoke to, whose name I failed to get, was excellent. He squeezed me in when I showed up without an appointment & I think I was out in less than an hour. Please send me some feedback on how this will be solved. Thank you. More
