Worst car buying experience i have had Bought a used 2017 corolla, Communication was poor, car battery was dead and when taken to service turned out to be faulty. Waited 2 hours to be fixed Bought a used 2017 corolla, Communication was poor, car battery was dead and when taken to service turned out to be faulty. Waited 2 hours to be fixed was not told what was going on the whole time. I was told by the salesman that help was on the way to help didn’t show. Sent another text to the salesman who turned out to be at lunch and was heading over. Salesman finally showed up and told me the battery was being replaced. Waited another 20min so I asked the service guy how much longer. He went back to check and at that time they were testing the battery expecting it to fail and had a new battery on stand by. Why a new one wasn’t just replaced before this point is beyond me especially if your expecting the battery to fail. I have no idea how I can buy a used car and this not be a standard check before handing the car over. Salesman told me the day before he would have it ready so why are things like tire pressure, battery life, fluid levels not checked before handing over the car? When I was given the car it barely cranked over and I asked them to check it prior to leaving. Which lead to me being held at the service shop for over 2 hours with very little information. Promised that my bank was included as a financing option, then get processed with a car loan with someone else. More
Vehicle Purchase From Out of State Coming from out of state can always be a bit of an issue. They were nice enough to hold the vehicle with a down payment. When I got there it was busy. I was persuaded into signing papers immediately before having even seen the vehicle I was planning to purchase. I was also told that I would be given additional parts along with my vehicle, which did not happen. Also, after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed they removed a suspension component. I wondered why, but installed it myself again. After installing the part, I noticed the steering alignment changed. I started to think, and came to the conclusion that they did not want to pay for an alignment or have anyone do an alignment on the vehicle. They instead pulled a sneaky move and took the part off to fix the alignment of the steering wheel. In my opinion, those actions are sneaky and dis-honest, the dealer did a good job else where. Nice people, but definitely pushy. They do overprice their cars, and the also put themselves before the customer. I personally was not fond of my conversation with Jason Bray. The internet sales manager also did not help me one bit. She said she would put a down payment to hold the vehicle but did not and left for the day, I had to call someone else and that is when Donnie helped me out. Donnie was a great and fun person to work with. In my opinion, I believe Donnie deserves a higher position within the dealership. In the end, I would recommend this dealer, and suggest working with Donnie only. Bring price comparisons. More
