I purchased a car 8/3. A list of issues are below: • They CLAIM their vehicles go through a Ford Blue Certified 139 point inspection that is backed by a 90 day 400 mile A list of issues are below: • They CLAIM their vehicles go through a Ford Blue Certified 139 point inspection that is backed by a 90 day 400 mile warranty. • Roaches in the car that ended up getting into my garage and home • Battery was dead day 1 • When I called about the roaches the lady said I should bomb my car or pay someone to fumigate- this was within a day of purchasing • Within 2 weeks the AC started blowing hot air. • To their credit, they “fixed” the AC issue and fumigated the car without charging me and provided a loaner car. •However, the AC was blowing hot again within a week. Add to that, the car started jerking as I braked. THIS IS ALL WITHIN THE FIRST 90 DAYS. • I called and scheduled an appointment to get the AC looked at again and to see what the issue was with braking. I set an appointment and was told I would have a loaner car. When I got there, I was told there was no loaner. I took time off work for this • I was told I would be contacted when they had inventory. I was never contacted. I followed every couple days for a week and a half until I got a manager on the line. I was told there was no inventory, but I could take it to another shop. • I took it to my normal mechanic, however, since it wasn’t a Ford Dealership Technician, they tried to make him jump through hoops. • To their credit, when I called the GM, he provided me a loaner and worked directly with my mechanic. Their employees were all pretty polite and willing to help. • I am giving them 1 start for several reasons. First, there’s no way this car went through a 139 point inspection and I had to replace an evaporator coil, lower arm assembly, and a tire rod. The brakes are also grinding and squeaking. There’s no way all those things go within 4000mi/90 days if it was inspected. The process of setting the second appointment was terrible. It made me think I was being slow-walked until I either passed the miles or time restriction. I also had to come out of pocket to have these issues fixed. There’s no way I should have to pay over 24k for a car (+interest) that “went thru a 139 point inspection” AND have to come out of pocket for repairs on issues that should not have even existed. THIS WAS WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF HAVING THE CAR. I wouldn’t suggest this dealer AT ALL based off my experience More

Dealership itself is cool. It’s just the making clear of the services & how it works. They tell me life time oil changes & then say that means just 2 a year lol. Jennifer did a great job (like always) but the phone systems are absolutely horrific. When trying to contact Elder Ford, you get routed to an answering service that has NO CLUE of where to direct your c systems are absolutely horrific. When trying to contact Elder Ford, you get routed to an answering service that has NO CLUE of where to direct your call. My last experience was so bad I said to myself “never again”. I even tried getting in touch with Dan Sills, but was never able to contact him. On Friday, October 27, 2023 I left messages for Service (including Jennifer 10:48am and Andrew 10:48am) with no returned phone call. I was however to get in touch with Bill Currie Ford, and will now begin bringing my vehicles to that location. Please understand that in no way, shape, or form is this personal, it is just better business. Respectfully- DR Brant More
