This buying experience is the opposite of everything you dislike about traditional car sales! If EAB has something in stock that's listed at a price you think is fair, don't hesitate. Give them a try! There's no pressure or haggling. I actually witnessed a couple come in just because they wanted to test drive a couple of cars, but said they weren't ready to sit down and talk about buying anything right away. The place happily obliged, and told them to have a nice day as they left afterwards. I found that my salesperson Ben was eager to help me get the best possible financing arrangement too .... not just trying to push me to finance with a specific lender that gives them a cut of the profit on the interest rate. (Right off the bat, he asked if I had a credit union, because "they always give the best rates on car loans". I told him I did, so he proceeded to call them first. He said if I didn't have one, he'd try to work with one to set up an account for me.) We worked out a tentative deal, but the car I wanted wasn't detailed yet and they still needed to get a current state inspection done on it. So they let me drive my trade-in home over the weekend, and they're supposed to come to me at my convenience this week to deliver the new car and take this one back with them. They're also still trying to further improve my interest rate, so if they can do so -- they'll let me sign the updated paperwork when they drop off the car.)
