My husband and I went out shopping for a used Jeep( I've owned two,one used and one new).I tried a used Jeep and a new Jeep Compass. Then, I went to check out other used vehicle dealerships. We ended up coming to Elkins Chevrolet, what a difference!!!I never felt that UGLY CAR DEALER EXPERIENCE !! My salesperson was LORI, she was friendly , knowledgable, and took the time to explain what the features were and how they operate. After checking out her used suv's , I test drove a 2011 Equinox and there was no comparision, the quality is GREAT, I LOVE MY EQUINOX. The sales manager helped us with our Jeep trade-in. This is the best dealership I have been too. I just purchased my second car and just like the first time the people there went out of their way to help me get what I wanted. Joe Capra is a great sales purchased my second car and just like the first time the people there went out of their way to help me get what I wanted. Joe Capra is a great sales manager there. He took the time to go over payment differences on a few cars for me. He helped me to get what i wanted and what i could afford. They dont just sell you the most expensive car they have. They actually ask you what you want and what you can afford. Ive had credit problems but that didnt matter i feel as if i was treated the same as anyone else. The salesman Tony Dilard was also very helpful. When i arrived to take delivery the vehicle was cleaned and all the paperwork was ready to be signed. Nick in finance is a great guy as well. I had my young child with me and he was very accommodating. It means alot when everything is done professionally and they do everything they can to help you get into a car. I highly recommend this dealership. I drove 1 hour to get there and will only return to this dealership anytime i need a car. They truly do go above and beyond for you and that's very rare these days. More

I have to admit, each scheduled maintenance was timely and efficient, and if there were any issues the staff in the service department took the time to explain each with the care that one would expect from family member, not a car delership. In 2009, after putting 75,000 miles on my Tahoe, I knew that I wanted the new model, and I didn't hesitate to returne to Elkins Chevrolet. I had the pleasure of working with Jason Elkins who let me know about the GM return customer benefits as well as all of the financing options available. Jason was knowledgable and non-confrontational, and made the sales process go smoothly, including the trade-in of the old Tahoe. When my daughter turned 17 last year, I knew exactly where to go: Elkins Chevrolet. I again worked with Jason who suggested the Aveo. My daughter immediately fell in love, and I was pleased with how the staff again eased the process of purchsing the vehicle. Last week I noticed a noise in my Tahoe that sounded out of the ordinary, so I brought in my truck to the Service Department. Adam was a dream to work with. He explained the issue to me in clear, easy to understand terms. Frankly, I am not a care person so going into the details of the problem would only confuse things. For the purposes of this review, though, Adam let me know my options and work with me to fix the problem, rather than giving me an ultimatum on the course of action. Once I decided how to proceed, Adam said that that the car would be ready by 3 p.m. This was at 11 a.m. I returned at 3 p.m. on the dot, and, true to form, the service department had completed the fixes, and my car has been running smoothly since.
