A Dealer Who Really Wanted To Help! I am a recently divorced, 55 year old male that was just looking for a break after being the victim of a nasty divorce. Because of the divorce, my credit took a beating and my lawyer wanted my first born, but my 1999 VE Passat was slowly dying and on a 92 degree afternoon, with no A/C, I was in need of a newer, more reliable vehicle. I set out on my journey around 10:00am and vowed to visit every dealership along Jericho Turnpike in Huntington from Deer Park Road to route 110. I made Huntington Toyota my first choice, due to my history and preference for Toyota. I had leased 2 Camrys and an Avalon prior, I had always been satisfied with my Toyota vehicles. Well, Huntington Toyota was the only stop I needed to make that day. After explaining my situation to the salesman Jose, and Finance Manager, Larry Velasquez, they quickly showed a willingness to assist in anyway they could. The General Manager, Keith, and his team of professionals made me feel like I had some friends in the car business. They basically did the impossible and put me in a certified pre-own Camry in a reasonable amount of time. I drove out of the dealership knowing that I would recommend them to anyone and everyone I knew. And, I myself would return with my business, if and when I was ready for another vehicle. Best experience ever; ALMOST. Best Sales Person for SURE! Overall a really good experience. Just came home with a Highlander Hybrid. Very happy with getting the car I was looking for. Number one positive was the salesperson that I worked with during the process. Yoelis Fernandez went above and beyond on every aspect of the sales process. I never felt I was being sold as much as I was being helped purchase the car I wanted. They didn't have the Highlander Limited I was looking for at the dealership or in NY. Yoelis found it in CT and had it here in two days. I came in and he had taken care of everything he could. Gracie the sales manager also helped get the deal done. Thank you, Gracie. The only downside was the trade in value that I was given on a marginal 2011 Traverse. I totally understood that it wasn't pristine but they basically just gave me NO VALUE ($100.00). Insult. Should have been $2,000 .So I but was very disappointed in that aspect of my experience. So that gets a thumbs down. Finance manager Larry was terrific. Congrats on the baby! OVERALL 4 OUT OF 5 0 FOR TRADE IN. WOULD HAVE BEEN 5 out of 5. Ask for Yoelis! More
