I have purchased two cars from Joe Alicea of Ertle Subaru. Both times Joe was authentic and a genuinely kind person. Everyone was great from my sales associate Andrew Valentin, Kevin his manager, a nice man in Finance who helped put my 7 year warranty I bought on my charge card Dave, and a new associate named Steph Valentin, Kevin his manager, a nice man in Finance who helped put my 7 year warranty I bought on my charge card Dave, and a new associate named Stephanie who took the test drive with Andrew and I. Andrew was very good on the test drive and thorough. I have a appointment with Pam in two weeks after driving the car a bit with questions and I will get a gas gift card from her. This is my second Forester! With the 2022 Forester the car shuts off if you are at a stop for a long time but "as soon as you put the foot on the gas pedal it goes." Andrew showed me "how to shut this feature off if I desire." He also showed me how if "I stray from my lane how a ding or a bell will go off." He was great. He also showed me how to plug in my cell phone for google maps and I understood. He got my temporary car insurance card and my temporary registration card. I will get the permanent in the mail It went smoothly with Andrew. I am a senior. Lauren helped with my decision "if I should but a new warranty on my 7 year old Subaru or purchase a new Subaru in the beginning." More
Poor customer service - service took 3 days and I had to continually call for updates. Day 1 - received confusing text message about work needed, had to call to get explanation. Then was promised call back continually call for updates. Day 1 - received confusing text message about work needed, had to call to get explanation. Then was promised call back regarding work completion update, but no call from SA I had to follow up myself. Day 2- no call on service completion update. Stopped by and learned car not ready and promised a call next morning. Day 3 - received text which hilariously promised a phone call update. No call from SA. Finally called myself in PM was told would be ready at 1:30. I understand service taking longer than expected but the total lack of communication was ridiculous. More
