What hold me from giving it five stars is that my middle name initial was typed incorrectly on the vehicle registration and this caused some confusion when I tried obtaining a city vehicle sticker. Craig Holsman made it seamless and gave me a great deal, and went the extra mile (literally, he had the car brought in from Central IL). I was very impressed with the whole dealership. Josh Smyth, Bob Wojtan and everyone I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I had follow up questions/concerns after the sale, and they were extremely helpful in helping me resolve my concerns. The most recent experience at Fair Oaks Ford probably has been the best one I've ever had. Jeremy Bloom, sales rep, was kind, friendly, helpful, approachable, respectful, and demonstrated a willingness to work with me, answer all my questions, and locate the exact car I wanted. After only one visit, all other business was handled over the phone, and the next time I visited FOF was to pick up my car. At that time Jeremy spent the better part of an hour conducting a tutorial involving all the new technology on my leased 2015 Lincoln MKX, which was very helpful. As a parting gift, he presented me with a lovely box of a dozen chocolate truffles from Le Chocolate in Naperville. In addition, my husband (who owns an MKX) and I always use FOF service department with Dave, another great FOF employee, as our contact person. More

Disappointing I went to the Fair Oaks service center in order to get a front license plate bracket installed on my car upon moving to Illinois. 1. As I was in I went to the Fair Oaks service center in order to get a front license plate bracket installed on my car upon moving to Illinois. 1. As I was in the waiting area, one gentleman had decided to bring his bull dog to the Ford service center on a Saturday afternoon. As a new resident coming here from South Carolina, I can't say I've learned Illinois etiquette yet, but I found this completely inappropriate. The dog was literally growling and barking at people the ENTIRE time that I waited. 2. I simply asked that the technicians install the front plate bracket, and then replace my temporary plates with my specialty collegiate license plates that had come in. When they put the new plates on, they decided to add a "Fair Oaks Ford" license plate frame on both the front and the back, thus covering up my specialty collegiate license plate. Nice try, y'all. I bought this Ford Edge in South Carolina, you don't have to assume I'm going to be a moving advertisement for your dealership here. I didn't appreciate having to get home and re-do half of the job after I had just forked over $60 for a license plate bracket. More
