Took the truck in for a FREE Ford recall. Taped the recall notice to the steering wheel. They wanted to charge me $350 to install a piece of plastic that the recall allows 45 minutes labor on and that recall notice to the steering wheel. They wanted to charge me $350 to install a piece of plastic that the recall allows 45 minutes labor on and that includes installing a computer download update. AND this recall applied to every Diesel engine over a 2/3 yr period so they had to know about it. It makes one wonder if they were trying to bill me and Ford for the job! More
