But then less than a year later, the front d When I bought my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport in September of 2014, I thought “WOW, this is a great SUV”. But then less than a year later, the front driver seat developed a tear. I had the warranty for the interior and exterior repair service that I paid extra for. I went through xxxx just to get them to honor the contract and fix the seat. Oh yeah, the tear came right back. At another oil change, I asked the service department to check why I couldn’t get my phone to connect correctly to the Hands-Free Bluetooth. I was told there are a lot of people in here that need service and they really don’t have time. What? Then I had the car serviced and had to have the brakes done and they did an oil change and cabin air filter replacement. Coming back several months later to get my oil changed again, I was told that my cabin air filter hasn’t been replaced in a while, so it needs replacing. I stated that at the last oil change it was changed. The rep checked and sure enough, it had been changed. Then the recall comes in the mail. The recall that stated "Machining errors during the engine manufacturing process may cause premature bearing wear within the engine". I brought my car to the dealership and they assured me that the engine was okay. But wait, while driving on the expressway several months later, my car stalled on me once. Then on August 10th, the engine began making very loud knocking noises. The car had to be towed to the dealer. I was told I would need a refurbished engine installed and it would take some time before the parts would be in. My car was at the dealer from Friday, August 10th until Saturday, October 13th. During the time was car was at the dealer, I had three different loaner vehicles. With the last loaner I had, there was a incident on the expressway with two other drivers that I was involved in. The disgruntled and aggressive drivers called Family Hyundai to complain that I was driving erratically. It was actually the driver in front of me that stopped short and the driver behind me that was tailgating who literally had to swerve onto the shoulder to avoid hitting me. A gentleman from Hyundai called and stated that he received 2 calls stating that I swerved and pushed someone into the guardrail and was driving erratically -- not true. First, he called me while I was driving. Second, he automatically assumed I was in the wrong. He never asked what was going on. He didn't ask if I was using the hands-free option. THEN he yelled at me that I had better drive carefully in a car that had HIS name on it! When I picked up my car on Saturday morning, October 13th, Colin Simmons was very nice and assisted in getting my paperwork so I could get my car and be on my way. He has been the only salesperson that has consistently delivered a great customer experience. You just don't know when you come in, who you will get to assist you. Thank you, Family Hyundai! This customer is done with your dealership. Please don't call me or send me any emails anymore. Adios! More

Rude approach!! I did make an appointment through BlueLink, for an oil change. It was the last one of the day. When I arrived a young service worker asked me what I was there for? I responded, for an oil change. Oh no, he replied, we don’t take oil change appointment at this time. I said: I did it with BlueLink and they gave this appointment. Oh, okay he replied... on the internet it’s crazy!! The next one did the same with out asking how I made the appointment first , that will avoid being so rude.outfront. The dealer offered the costumer, as a compliment, vacuum and wash. They did not vacuum my car, they washed it but they did not dry it. I felt like... there you have it!! Now, get the he’ll out!! In the past, they will take there time and will tell you all the checkpoints that comes with that service like air tires, transmission fluid, filter check, etc. Like in any other place... Not this time. They call me, told me what do I need for the next appointment and go and pay the bill. Thank you very much!! Costumer Service people!! You’re the face of a company. You need to show and treat the costumer with respect and give the service with grace, no matter how the costumer made the appointment. He/she was there with an appointment, not a walk in. Complete the service explaining what was done, apologizing for being rude. It’s Friday, you and everybody else are tired and want to go home, that’s understandable. Don’t take it on the costumers. That’s how they make feel, rejected! Crazy internet!! More
