Complete and full transparency from the start is Eric’s motto! I purchased the vehicle online 180 miles away so I rented a one-way car because I felt Eric would be a good guy to work with. I have been going back and forth with Ford F150 and Toyota Tundra for a while. Jason, here at Family Toyota took his time and was very polite to answer my 100+ questions. He helped me keep from making Toyota Tundra for a while. Jason, here at Family Toyota took his time and was very polite to answer my 100+ questions. He helped me keep from making the mistake of buying a truck that would not be the best truck for my family and I. I am now going to drive home in my new Toyota truck with a smile on my face ☺. I am glad that Jason was able to put my mind at ease and make buying a new truck less of a stresser then I expected it to be. I liked the look of one style Tundra that has a smaller back seat, however Jason had already taken the time to build a relationship with me buy asking opene ended questions to get a better insight to what I would really need. So he showed me both the back seat of the smaller one then the back seat of the crew max. I have tall children and he knew this by now. So I was so happy I did not go with the smaller Tundra. My kids enjoy all their space for there legs and the fact I can keep my seat in a comfortable driving position and not squish my boys legs. I was so set on the color and all the features I wanted in my new truck. Jason took the time find me even more then I expected amd stayed within my budget. I also went with a totally different color then I expected and love love love it. I am so blown away with the service I received from Jason and Brian the finance guy. Brian also explained everything so well in lamens terms so that we understood everything crystal clear. So not only was I happy with my sales person Jason I was so pleased with the finance guy Brian to. I will only buy vehicles from Family Toyota and now going from a Ford lover and now I'm a Toyota lover for life. Thank you Jason and Brian for making this such an amazing 👏 experience. Car buying is never an easy or stressless experience. This one was actually very pleasant and I am happy to return. Thanks guys see ya again. More

Sierra helped us purchase our 2020 4 runner. She did a really good job! I sincerely appreciate her patience as my wife and I went through the checklist of features we wanted over an extended time frame. S really good job! I sincerely appreciate her patience as my wife and I went through the checklist of features we wanted over an extended time frame. Sierra found the correct vehicle, and had it ready for us first thing Saturday morning. This was my first purchase of a Toyota, and I was very impressed. Beautiful dealership with very friendly and helpful folks working there. Thanks again. More
Check your numbers carefully and get everything in writing before you leave the dealership! I went in to Family Toyota on Labor Day weekend to buy my wife a car. The salesman made a snide remark when writing before you leave the dealership! I went in to Family Toyota on Labor Day weekend to buy my wife a car. The salesman made a snide remark when reviewing the numbers on her trade in due to her not having the vehicle for very long. We were fully aware that we were in a bad situation, but my wife didn’t like her new car and wanted something else. This salesman’s remarks should have been our red flag to hit the door running, but we stayed after he gave us a sob story about his wife that struck a chord with my wife. After finding the car she liked, we started going over the numbers and were pleased given our situation. Out of curiosity, I asked if we could get an even better deal if I also bought a pickup truck. This is where things started to go south. The salesman and his manager started working the numbers and came up with a combined payment for the new car and truck that was reasonable. We were told, to get the combined payment we wanted, they had to move the numbers around and charge more for my wife’s car to get the truck payment terms where we wanted them. Seemed shady, but we were happy with the payment. We’re informed that they did not have the truck on site and would have to get one delivered from another dealer, but it would only take a day or two. Great! So we finished the paperwork for the wife’s car and drive home. As the days went by, we were regularly contacted by the salesperson with updates, good and bad. They couldn’t find any available trucks in the area, it was going to be a few more days, etc. They started to mention they may have to give me a model year newer because of the issues locating what they sold me. They also mentioned giving me a better trim level for the same reason. Each successive call, we would ask about what they promised on the last call and it kept changing. Dates kept getting pushed out. Almost a month later, we finally get a call that they found a truck. It’s not the newer model they had previously promised. It wasn’t the upgraded trim level the previously promised. It was the exact truck they sold me. Ok, no problem. I was glad to finally get a truck, any truck after almost a month. As I’m hanging up the phone, Oh by the way, they have to drive the truck from far west Texas to Dallas. So it’ll have 400+ miles on it before it gets to me. Not excited by this, but again, glad to just have a truck and out this behind me. Get to the dealership, the salesman rushes me to the finance guy to sign the paperwork. As I’m getting ready to sign, I notice the payment is almost $300 more than he promised me. At this point, the wife and I are furious. We’ve been consistently lied to and misled for the pas month. Now this discrepancy in the payment put us over the edge. We tell them to pull all of the paperwork from a month ago when we decided on the payment. They start pulling everything out to convince us we agreed to this new payment, but could not produce the paperwork my wife and I signed agreeing to the combined payment. It had mysteriously disappeared. Instead, they “recreated it” and wouldn’t you know it suddenly had the inflated payment on it. Very convienent. At this point, we’re through talking to the salesperson. He’s nothing but a liar to us. So we plead our case to the manager on duty. He tries to rework the numbers to get us back to what was originally promised, but is still $200+ away. He finally gives up and tells us he can’t do the original payment that was promised because the dealership would lose money. I don’t care! Where is your integrity and honesty? Where is your desire to make this right and stand by your promise? I can’t believe this is what passes for good business ethics any more. So, suffice to say, we didn’t make the deal on the truck. Except now, we know we paid too much for my wife’s car because they told us as much, which they also denied. I’m pretty upset with Family Toyota and I really thought they would do the right thing in the end, but they barely even tried. So disappointed. Moral of the story is document everything agreed on before leaving the dealership and get their signature. More
