The other never delivered except empty promises. Josh stood out. For two weekends he helped us locate a financial institution that would make this sale possible. We picked up our awesome vehicle on July 2, 2016. We did not mind the distance (nearly 500 miles) as we were dealing with a straight shooter. Once we arrived Mitch, another colleague of Josh helped us with the initial paperwork, Bags of popcorn stayed our hunger while we were finalizing the sale. Wow Just Wow We were in a financial pickle. My high car payment was putting excessive stress on my family. I found out that I owed more on my car than what it was We were in a financial pickle. My high car payment was putting excessive stress on my family. I found out that I owed more on my car than what it was worth. We had to make a decision to refinance, sell, or trade. We went to a small local car dealer and were immediately told that they could not help us. My son suggested Family Toyota of Burleson. The best salesman welcomed us in the parking lot, Joseph Llamas. He is young and I thought "My shoes are older than this guy, he won't be able to help us," sorry Joseph. ;) But boy, oh boy, was I ever wrong. We shook hands and I immediately laid everything on the line. I told Joseph - 1) I was upside down on my car 2) I needed a larger SUV because my husband is tall 3) I also needed a lower payment because we were struggling with monthly bills due to a wage decrease and working hour decrease 4) We have good credit None of this phased Joseph. He patiently asked questions and analyzed how he could help us. Joseph is not a high pressure salesman. He was so positive and enthusiastic and he had no doubt that he could help us. He made us an offer and let us drive a car to lunch to discuss it (Babe's has the best chicken fried steak). Joseph worked his magic and was able to meet all of our requirements. We were able to buy a brand new larger SUV, 2016 Toyota Highlander and the monthly payment was $150 less per month. Woo! Hoo! :) Melissa in finance was very helpful and was able to save us more money with the Gap policy. Going to Family Toyota and working with Joseph Llamas was such a great experience. They took a huge burden off of my shoulders and made the buying experience easy and stress free. And one more exciting note - Family Toyota and Joseph Llamas treated us so well and went far and above what we wanted - while we were there, my son also was able to buy the car of his dreams, 2016 Toyota FRS, they were even able to get him one in the exact color he wanted, black. Started Out a Little Rocky but ended VERY well. Was looking for a used car, had searched online and wanted to check them out, the used cars were scattered every where and it was hot, but Bart G had Was looking for a used car, had searched online and wanted to check them out, the used cars were scattered every where and it was hot, but Bart G had us sit inside while he looked for the cars and brought them to us! I would suggest if you look online email them with stock numbers of the cars you want to see and ask to have them ready when you get there! I ended up with a 2013 Honda civic and was very happy..... UNTIL the next day when it would not start.... Bad Battery.... I called and let them know and they said bring it back and they will make it right. I took the car to MY Mechanic and had them check EVERYTHING, and went in to Family Toyota with what they had found (very minor stuff). Chris B in the service department was WONDERFUL! They fixed EVERYTHING on the list with no hesitations! This is a new store, and they are still working out the kinks. They are VERY busy but bend over backwards to do what is right. We were ALWAYS greeted with a smile and helped with all our needs, and cold water is always available ! I would suggest if you get a used car make sure to see the check list BEFORE buying to make sure it has not slipped through the cracks like my car had, but again Family Toyota made things right! They are also right at or below market Value on their cars (I used Truecar.com) I got a great deal! More
