Brought my truck in for service due to a voltage issue with the volt gauge bouncing around. Zac, my service writer, suggested it was the alternator, so I had it replaced, albeit at a somewhat high cost. H with the volt gauge bouncing around. When I returned, I was told by Zac that the gauge fluctuation is normal. I've had this truck for 4 years and 9 months without experiencing this before. It raises the question: Why did I pay over $1100+ for an alternator if the initial symptoms still persist? Not trying to pick on my service writer - but I expect a certain level of communication. In this case, I had to initiate all forms of communication and wait for a response - no proactive communication from their Service Dept. I have had wonderful communication from this Dept in the past and expected the same level but was disappointed this go round. I will continue to use them but will seek a different Service Writer moving forward. More

Excellent service always! In & out in an hour. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've had my car in for service & to retro fit parts that were not installed on my car at the t In & out in an hour. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've had my car in for service & to retro fit parts that were not installed on my car at the time of purchase. Each time I have asked for a 2nd key fob (that I was told I would be getting when I purchased my car) and was told someone would check on it and get back with me. This time I was told to call GM Customer Service, which I did and they called back today and said to call Ferguson's Service Manager and let him know that a ticket has been started on my account. If someone would check on it and get back in touch with me I would appreciate it. We have purchased 5 or 6 cars/trucks with Ferguson and have always been pleased with the service!
