Excessive charges and aloof employees I purchased my car at Ferman in 2013 but recently moved to Georgia. On my drive back down, my ac went out and my windshield wiper sprayers stopped spr I purchased my car at Ferman in 2013 but recently moved to Georgia. On my drive back down, my ac went out and my windshield wiper sprayers stopped spraying. I called Ferman and was able to get it in for service the next day since I needed an oil change anyway, even though it meant driving from Spring Hill. Nothing was explained on the phone about cost to just LOOK at what was wrong. The service advisor I was scheduled with was not there when I dropped off my car at 7 am, and no one got around to even speaking to me until about 7:15. I was then told that each non-working item would cost $125 JUST TO LOOK AT. Considering the vehichle was only five years old, these two items should still have been in working condition. My appointment was at 10 am, but I was overnighting in Orlando. I explained this and that I’d be back to pick it up after only the oil change the next day. At 5 pm the service advisor I was assigned to (who I hadn’t met) called asking if I was picking up my car today because it was just then done with service. I re-explained that I was in Orlando and would be back around noon the next day to pick up. On the day of Pick-up, he was off. I went to the cashier (who reminded me of the DMV sloth from zootopia) who stated she had no record of my vehichle. she eventually got up and looked and found it. I paid, left, and traded my car in for a Kia the next day. I will never deal with Chevy again. More
A genuine used car salesman exists! I wouldn’t have believed it had I not lived the experience. John had only been at the dealership for a few months when I walked on the lot at the end of November 2017. He’s a genuinely nice guy, takes his job personally, and had me feeling like he was only trying to help me get the right car at the right price. He asked the right questions, got to know me a little personally, and has followed up multiple times after my purchase. I have nothing but admiration for this young man and would recommend seeing him to anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle. Thanks for a great experience, John! More

An honest salesman who listens I hate car shopping, but this time was different. By the time we met John at Ferman we had already been to several other dealers that day. Although my I hate car shopping, but this time was different. By the time we met John at Ferman we had already been to several other dealers that day. Although my old Chevy Cobalt was getting up there in years (and mileage), we had just started the search process and I wasnt planning on buying anything quite yet. From the moment we met him, John didn't act like what I'd pictured as a car salesman. He didnt pressure me or try to show me things I wasnt interested in. He listened to everything we were looking for, our price range and even my somewhat commical attachment to my car of 10 years. He worked with us, and even had another salesman, Brendan, assist us when we came back that same day, rather than having us wait for him. He then stayed late that night while we processed the sale - none of us leaving until after 10:30pm. I feel very confident I got a great deal on my new Chevy Trax, and am very happy to have had the pleasure of working with John and Brendan at Ferman. More
