2011 Elantra Limited, desert bronze Idle was bad, car kept veering to the left, only 40,000 miles, needed new engine? This all started in February and March. I really loved that car, especially the style and color. [Left it there on March 20th] Had loaner for 3 days and would have had to hold on to it longer as the problems were not fixed yet. Did not feel comfortable driving a car that was not mine and I felt that I could not trust my car from that moment on. So purchased this 2016 Elantra SE, gray which is very nice. Miss my leather heated seats right now. Did not have the extra money to invest in having the heated seats put into this new car at this time. My daughter also has a 2011 Elantra that ended up having her engine overhauled a week after I put my 2011 in the shop. She also had a little over 40,000 miles on her car. She got her car back after a couple of weeks. Luckily we both were just under the 5 year mark of ownership of our cars when the problems occurred. We had purchased them when they were brand new. I really think that someone should look into the fact that maybe the 2011 Elantras may have an engine problem at 40,000 miles. I really would have liked a little more trade in value than I received [or at least have the heated seats put in at no cost to me] because I feel that the car should not have had all those problems with that low mileage on it. I only drive back and forth to work every day which is only 4 1/2 miles from my home one way. Travel to the Cape in the summer months. In closing, I really like the looks of the Elantras. Not crazy about the grill on the 2017 Elantras, so that is why I purchased this left over 2016. I have noticed that this car rides better than my last car. I really do hope that you do some sort of survey on the 2011 Elantras and see if there have been others that have had engine problems or veering to the left [even after alignment]. Again, my salesperson, Roland, was very helpful and considerate. More

I did have an issue with one feature that should have came with the car but dealership worked with me to make sure the deal went smooth. Make sure you read the blue link app features and fees as some things aren't free as you may be lead to beleive they come with the app. More
