Prior to receiving the email asking our consultant to discontinue calling you, our management team had made numerous attempts to contact you with the hopes to help you understand the vehicle listed on our website has yet to arrive at the dealership. Due to manufacturing backlog and the high demands in the automotive market, we are doing our very best to accommodate car shoppers as efficiently as possible. In regards to the value of your current vehicle, I can assure you we use the same tools as other dealerships in determining trade-in allowances. That being said, if you have found an individual buyer for your vehicle at your expected price, we would be happy to continue the negotiations on the Tahoe of interest. If by your “management team making numerous attempts” you mean your salesperson asking my wife to remove the review then, yes, you did. You lied about the price, didn’t even offer to show my wife the car and generally treated her like an idiot. Further, your shortage of inventory applies to pre owned as well. What would you have listed our 2019 Tahoe Premier in excellent shape with 19,000 miles for, you offered $43k on the trade. Care to comment publicly on your price gouging on both sides? Why would I want to sell my car to someone upstanding and continue negotiating with you on a new car? I’m not a masochist.
