John is the best car salesman I’ve ever worked with… mostly becaus This is the 5th car I’ve purchased from this dealership, fourth from John Derobbio. John is the best car salesman I’ve ever worked with… mostly because he never “sells” me. He works for me - he does everything he can to respond to my needs.John knows I hate hanging around the dealership, so when I want a test drive, he has the keys ready, when I buy a car, he has the paperwork prepared and all the legwork around insurance and DMV done ahead of time. When I bought my GT500, the car was prepped and waiting and I was driving my Shelby home in 20 minutes. To get this sale, I test drove 4 GTs over a 2-week period. He was my sounding board on the decision-making process; objective, reasonable, interested in what’s best for me. Finally, I built the exact 2015 GT I wanted online and brought John the spec. He worked his butt off finding that car - every day for a few weeks, keeping me in the loop along the way. He finally nailed it down and made it ready for delivery. As usual, he made the transaction smooth, quick and painless, and I was ready to roll very quickly - even with two trade-ins. Except, this time I hung around a little while because the guys on the floor were so jealous - I just had to enjoy the experience of taking possession of the most beautiful car I’ve ever owned! More

Went to Flood Ford, not sure what to expect and meet John Derobbio, John made my experience great, he answered every question, showed my every detail in the car and then spent 10 solid days trying to get me exactly what I wanted and for the price I negotiated at Flood Ford - never once asking me to accept something different - Flood Ford made my goals and the Ford I wanted the number 1 priority, and I can honestly say, one of the best experience in buying a car - I could not be Happier with Flood Ford and my new 2015 Ford Explorer Sport More

New 2015 Ford Explorer XLT My buying experience at Flood Ford was excellent. It was my first time to this dealer after moving to Rhode Island from Connecticut. I will positive My buying experience at Flood Ford was excellent. It was my first time to this dealer after moving to Rhode Island from Connecticut. I will positively be a returning customer. I was contacted via email, very quickly by Michelle Fontaine. I was put in contact with Mike Coleman. Mike was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the new Explorers. We talked about my using the Ford X-Plan several times in the past. Mike arrived at a price that was lower than the current X-Plan would have given. We had taken a test drive and I was very impressed. I wanted the towing package so we had to place an order. The Explorer arrived in about 6 weeks. The transaction portion of the delivery process with John was very quick and painless. It was much quicker and more efficient than this part of the process that I experienced in the past. The explanation of the features was very detailed and well done by Mike Coleman. In conclusion, I am very satisfied and happy with my entire experience at Flood Ford of East Greenwich, RI. More
Awful experience, will not be returning for anything. My overall sales experience at Flood Ford of East Greenwich was less then stellar. I had multiple instances where I felt I was a second priority after My overall sales experience at Flood Ford of East Greenwich was less then stellar. I had multiple instances where I felt I was a second priority after making the decision to purchase my 2014 F150 especially at time of delivery and handling my registration paperwork and follow up on proof of residency for the finance department. When my wife and I decided to purchase a truck we both knew Ford was the best option, but had to chose between TASCA and Flood. Flood being closer to home and having better selection prompted us to first stop there in hopes of making a decision that evening. Upon arrival it was certainly appreciated to not be preyed upon while searching the lot and getting a up close and personal look at the F150 model type we were interested in (STX) however the ball was dropped upon entering the building and needing to wait close to five minutes before getting the assistance of a sales rep to discuss with us what trucks were available and to provide a little more information. Eventually we were greeted by Sal DiSantos who is a relatively new sales rep in his own admission with Flood Ford. When I questioned Sal for more information regarding the F150's (which I had heavily searched online about before entering the dealership) he didn't seem to know a whole lot about the finer points of the truck, such as the gearing, payload packages, etc. After test driving the pickup and returning back to Sal's desk we went into the negotiation process, which thankfully wasn't as arm twisting as we both had anticipated it being. Sal was a little baffled at the point and time where I asked for rear wheel liners to be part of the vehicle deal (he didn't know that they existed as Ford accessory for F150's) but I'll chalk that up to his inexperience still. My wife and I live in a village within three town lines in the state of Rhode Island. I explicitly stated multiple times during the paperwork process that the village name and zip code be used during the registration process. Unfortunately this did not happen and I wound up with a registration to a different City that I did not want. Sal took the time to fill out the paperwork properly so this is NOT his fault, but some other interdepartmental snafu during the registration processing. This wound up becoming a large hassle during my registration and plate picking up process which I will touch on a little later on. Delivery taking was the night after. At the time Sal and I agreed upon. My wife and I arrived on time and found Sal working with another customer, he greeted us and explained it would be a few minutes but to take the key and explore the vehicle a bit. We then went to do the finance paperwork with Paulette who was very nice and not overly pushy in regards to extended warranties. Again we took the time to fill the paperwork out and express that it needed to state our village name on the registration. We moved on from that point to taking delivery with Sal and going over the finer details. Sal admitted he wasn't familiar with how to get SYNC to work and seemed almost a little to relieved to hear that my wife and I were tech savoy enough to handle it ourselves. So the SYNC orientation was quickly skipped over, along with a thorough walk through of the trucks interior features short of upon almost leaving the lot my asking of how to operate the fog lights as it was already nightfall. Plate pickup was the following Saturday and this is where I felt things were really mishandled. Friday Paulette contacted me in regards to proof of residency documentation for the bank that has the loan on the truck. I brought in several statements with me to give to her while I had the plates put on. Sal handed me an envelope with my registration as he went to hurriedly put the plates on but I stopped him short stating the registration was wrong it had the city not the village. I almost felt like I it was a rush job so that I wouldn't notice until after I left. I was directed to the waiting room to wait on Paulette while my wife was down the road at the storage unit waiting for me to come back. I was hoping I'd be moved up slightly quicker because of this but waited 30 minutes before being taken in only to hear my paper work was wrong and to email over a different set. Unfortunately I had to wait over a week to hear back on the papers, Paulette was on vacation and failed to update her out office on email. Sal never contacted me about the registration until it was in my mailbox at home and I had complained via telephone to Paulette about its whereabouts. I'm glad I took the time to research the truck online so I knew what I wanted heading in to the dealer, and I really wish Flood would've taken the time to reach out to me more during the purchasing process, also I would've appreciated not being constantly reminded to provide a stellar review on this survey as that is how the sales reps get paid. I wouldn't recommend Flood as a first choice in RI after our experience. I will not return to this dealer for service, and when my wife decides to purchase a new car we most certainly will not be bringing our business here. More
